-VERY IMPORTANT: There is currently a STEALING issue in this hotel during cleaning shifts... I left my wallet inside my closed purse in my room to go for breakfast and two cleaning ladies stole all the cash I had left. At first the hotel didn't want to refund us and blamed it on us, but in the end we managed to get our money back. Since it's apparently not a first, the hotel need to invest in safes for the rooms and run some serious checks on the staff. In the end the owner was attentive and helpful with the process and got the police involved to help us, hopefully it will improve. -Depending on the period, the heat can be quite extreme in Diani. It was very hard to keep our room cool... You cannot leave the small room windows open because of bugs and monkeys. The fans also don't help much. It often felt warmer inside the room than outside, making it very hard to sleep at times.

-The garden of the hotel and the pool are stunning and perfectly maintained, nice places to relax. -The breakfast is made with fresh ingredients, and you can make special requests for eggs and pancakes. -There is a direct access to the beach with sunbeds and a guard keeping the beach sellers away (the big plus of this hotel with the diving options). -The staff is nice overall, especially the bar tender Abdallah, the guards and the ladies making breakfast. Sylva is a nice owner too, very alert and attentive. -The decoration is nice and the hotel is well located in Diani, close to supermarkets, nice restaurants and shops.

The cleanliness of the beddings was wanting. The bedsheets and pillow cases were stained room 1.

Breakfast- Amazing, shout out to Maureen Staff- Very helpful especially the guard at the beach, the bar man, Abdallah and the guards at the main gate (Boaz and the day shift guard) Environment - Very very quiet and serene which is exactly what I was looking for.

This place is a true gem! Located near the beach, with private beach access (and also comfortable sunbeds), which is guarded by a security guy, also the entrance to the premises is straight from the main street- you don’t need to wander through the bushes and darkness (which happens in other Diani resorts), you just go through the gate (also guarded by a security guy), and you are in the beautiful resort right away. The room was spacious, clean and had all of the needed equipment (towels, AC, fans, bottled water for brushing your teeth, fridge, place to dry your clothes, mosquito net etc.). There’s an amazing patio, where you can just lay back and relax. The staff was A M A Z I N G, especially: Katherine- even though the breakfasts were 11/10, she made it even better, she’s such a lovely, helpful person, sunshine in a human form :); Abdulla- so helpful, easy-going and nice guy, always ready to keep you safe from the monkeys, if they decide to steal your snack ;); Edwin- super-professional, also helpful and just a really nice guy. The premises are in excellent standard, everything is clean and comfortable. The pool is just the cherry on top ;) Very good location, nearby the supermarket and some good restaurants, and once again- VERY VERY SAFE. Our stay at the Diani Marine was a true relaxing experience and a definition of holidays went well :)

To be honest there is not much that I did not enjoy. There are quite few sneaky monkeys hanging around the garden/restaurant, so you might want to be careful when eating in the open-restaurant area. (A monkey stole my coconut on day 1, and my toast on day 2)... but I guess monkeys are a bit everywhere in the area, so this does not apply only for this resort. Staff members were also around to help with the situation. Perhaps this is not the best place to have an "authentic/local" experience... but if you are heading to Diani to enjoy some deserved time off on a picture-perfect beach, then this resort has everything you might be looking for. (I did not try the diving lessons)

Great location, a couple of minutes away from Diani beach (direct access from the hotel). The staff is very hospitable and was very helpful in suggesting nice activities in the area, organizing transport and suggesting restaurants for the dinners. Kennedy is an outstanding staff member, who can make your stay memorable! The breakfast is delicious, and offers all kind of options to satisfy every taste. The staff organizing the breakfast is kind and discreet, always available to make sure I had a great start of my day. Staff members and security guards are around all the time to make sure everything is ok (also at night)

Everything is great in this hotel. I really recommend it....Commfortable and silent place to stay, surrounded by greenery, right on the beach, nice pool. Professional and friendly staff, delicious breafast with huge choice and also local recipe as a special meal for us. The staff is very helpful. Snacks and drinks at the bar. For dinner you can go to several nearby restaurants. The meal is really delicious. Supermarket is 5 mins by walk. Great offer at a great price. Thank you very much Sylva, czech speaking manager, our holiday was incredible. :) ..................P.S. don't be afraid to ask for payment details, in Kenya there are different conditions, some requests seem like scams.

The checkout seemed a bit rushed and also being asked to clear the balance amount just on arrival. I didn't feel that welcoming .

The stay at this place was purely magical. The location was superb, right at the beach and right in the center but still very quiet and peaceful. The staff was extremely nice, amazing homemade breakfast, I will definitely be coming back.

location was absolutely suberb! Massive comfortable room, best breakfast yet in Kenia and good atmosphere. Diving school was soo professional (thanks Said!) and they took al the time for safety and procedures. There’s a very nice bar in the garden with very nice and helpful bartenders. Don’t miss out on this one!

Very good location, close to many restaurants and bars in Diani, but very quiet at the same time. The people are very welcoming and make you feel at home. I was able to check in earlier and to store my luggage after check out. The room is very clean and confortable.

I didn’t see the detail of showering/ tap water is salty if it was indicated somewhere on the booking aote so I struggled with that a bit.
