I expected to have clear view of the sea, as I paid for a seaview room, however the palm trees cover 80% of the view.

We had a very nice room, with a nice view, but the decoration and "style" was really odd. And a little more ambience furniture on the nice terrace would be really good.

I paid 1400 usd to stay for 7 nights, plus extra to eat everyday in the hotel's restuarant, asked for 1 hour late check-out and was denied it. That got me really pissed off. The shower inside the toilet had no division with the rest of the toilet, so every time I took a shower, the full toilet floor was completely wet. The beach beds have no parasols. That can be annoying until midday when except for 2 seats under the palms, the rest don't have any sun protection

The hotel has one of the best beach front views and locations in all the beach. The colour of the sand is paper-white, fantastic view. The restaurant lies also next to the sea literally. The restaurant and beach staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious. The room had a super nice balcony overlooking directly into the sea, with occasional monkey visits. Good wifi and good air-conditioning.

No umbrellas at the beach. Generally, the hotel is more expensive and has less facilities than other hotel we stayed in the area. I was expecting the opposite for the money.

The room was spacious, the beach is wide and long. Restaurant is quite good.

Aggressive monkeys but the staff do their best to keep them away 2nd visit - signs there say no smoking but I saw 3 tables of smokers couldn’t eat without the smoke in my face. restaurant messed up orders everyday and lacking attention to details one pair of utensils for eggs hot bf, pancakes and fruits - a mess. Fork and knife for quinoa and pomegranate - big challenge? Almost finished 90% my dinner before my drink even came, no explanation given till I asked if it was coming. Gave my lunch meal to next table diner who othered much later than me, and there was only 2 tables filled that time. I would have be ok if they did come forth to provide explanations for the mess up but never did until I had to ask if and when my food or drink was actually coming . Staff are polite but the order, service standard and ownership have clearly dropped. Final straw was to ask me to pass the tips to a waiters number personal number and they will distribute: I don’t trust this at all. hence I minus points due this experience in 3 days

The outside looks tired and needs to be freshened up with a coat of paint. In the bar, they did not sell white wine by the glass - said they had run out. Yet there was plenty of wine on display!!

What a pity, a bit more generosity and attention. If wifi in your room does not work and you ask 5-6 times for a fix, they wont care. If toilets on the beach wont work, it'll stay locked without information. Beach towels are all brown spotted. We found the reviews of the kitchen overrated in previous reviews. In comparison with neighbors it is overpriced and some portions are small. It does not feel right that a glass of mediocre quality wine is sold here for equivalent of 6,5 Euro.

The beach and the location is just fantastic. Staff good too. Rooms are worn but clean. We had a very good bed.

Above all else, the staff. The staff are excellent, friendly, attentive, genuine. The location of this hotel is excellent for enjoying the beach. The bar, restaurant and other outdoor areas are refurbished and a nice improvement.

For the price (I paid about 150 euro) I feel this hotel deserves a proper renovation. It has a lot of potential (exterior is also fine). And the rooms are spacious, but also very old. No warm water, the shower is in the middle of the bathroom so entire room gets wet, WiFi doesn’t work properly (not possible to FaceTime without getting interrupted), curtains almost fall of the rails and not possible to move, etc.

The location is perfect. Right at the beach, with restaurants on both sides at walking distance. Also, the staff is super friendly and willing to help. Professional with requests and hospitality done well. The hotel is connected to the kite school h2o, which was convenient for me.

The wifi connection was very poor.

The property was in the perfect location. The beachfront was not too busy and did not have too many locals trying to sell you goods. The food from the restaurant was 10/10. Everything I ate was made with love.

Overall, the infrastructure was very average. Some areas were nice but I expected better from the reviews and the price. The showers would go hot and cold every time the pump would work. We chose the Family Suite. One room came with AC but without a remote to control the temperature. The hotel offered us a second room as a solution. That was very nice! The first day I requested pancakes and they were stale. I did get fresh ones the following days after requesting for them. The staff were very friendly but the people in charge were not. They sat there without a word the entire time, no attempt to even share the most basic pleasantries with clients.

The staff was great. Very friendly. Great customer care. Amazing location on Galu Beach.  Food was good overall. Size of room was nice!

Its a bit dated shower and bathroom were nice and spacious but water pressure wasn't nice and pretty sure the sink was saltwater. But over all a nice place for the money I expected it to be a little more modern. But if you like that rustic vibe then this is the place for you.

The water in the shower and sink was out to only our unit for us for almost a full 24 hours, that was difficult (apparently they were working on a lower unit and inadvertently cut ours off). No compensation for it which was unusual. Beer could be colder. Some construction noise. Not enough drinking water provided, and only expensive heavy glass bottles. And smoking. Would be nice to have a non smoking beach chair and restaurant area even if outside. The wind can blow smoke right in your face and there were chain smokers around.

Loved the chill vibe of the hotel, comfortable, location, good mattress, etc. Great breakfast. Decent price for beer. Excellent staff, really enjoyed Athman, Melvin and Yvone. Excellent housekeeping.
