I found the beds to be really hard and uncomfortable (at least on the Kole Kole side) and the menu does not vary very much. The all inclusive drinks menu is a bit watered down.

Overall, its still good value but one is always eating and drinking. Always clean and I love the three pools, especially the infinity one. And the beach is spectacularly beautiful

Although the staff here were kind; the hairdresser did not know what she was doing and did a terrible cut. No hot water in sink- but heated water with a kettle…. No head massage even though I paid for it….I thought a nice hotel like this would have a quality hairdresser… no recommendations from me for this aspect of our stay…. This was the only negative of our wonderful stay.

The showers were a little cold and on arrival there was some confusion regards payment. Booking.com had debited the money yet the reception staff were adamant we needed to pay the full amount on arrival. They were incorrect and the matter was eventually settled.

Cost was reasonable, drinks were plentiful and the food was varied and there were snacks between meal timings. The monkeys make for an entertaining addition to the stay.

The rooms need to be upgraded. Our air conditioning unit did not work well throughout our stay. It was very hot. The monkeys were a big problem. We could not enjoy sitting on the balcony of the room without them jumping around and grabbing our food.. They also came into our room and destroyed our stuff.

Limited range of spirits on the full board menu. The beer on tap was not to my expectations and not cold enough.

The surrounding area and close proximity to the beach and other activities. We opted for full board, which made it easy for a large group to choose the food and drinks on the go.

The gift shop is lack of choices. Better go outside for souvenirs. Excursion shop was not flexible enough. Have to buy my trip online from another company. The "romantic" dinner" is overpriced. You can get better options just in 8 min drive.

The property has been maintained to a very high standard matters, cleanliness . This portrays that the kitchen is clean and thus more trust to the food that I ate daily.

Nothing that is in their control. A trip to and from Mombasa is however painful owing to the ferry crossing that can take hours at times to cross.

It was an all inclusive property with a massive amount of choice for food and drinks. It is right next to the beach and has excellent pool. Further, the Baobab Resort is in a compound with two other properties and one can use the facilities of all three properties whiteout any restrictions. Finally, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I wished I could rate them 12 out of 10!
