Possibly could have had smoother check in experience, but no other complaints.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very friendly staff, great location and good value for money. The A Rocha team are genuine conservationists that include guests in all their activities, and also invited me to social events in Watamu while I was there. They also gave me great advice for interesting swims and hikes to do that meant I didn't have to pay for guided tours. And, you are included in all their meals for no extra charge if you want. Highly recommend.

The camp blended into it's environment beautifully including the sunset tower. To have a fridge available was a welcome surprise. The staff were lovely.

The camp is greatly integrated into the local atmosphere of Watamu. Waking up to the sound of the sea, birds and monkeys is priceless, The staff is nice and the facilities are also good.

Super helpful and kind staff, a lot of nature and bush for shade and you are just on the dune behind the sea with a direct access. You have a view on the sea if you want to take your sun downer there. And very different type of accommodation, this time I was in the optimis bungalow. I've been there now three times and I'll continue to come back. I love it. They have no added a little restaurant for breakfast in case you don't want self-catering it's very convenient and very good value and good quality.

Found some braids under my bed, so not properly cleaned before we moved in.

We stayed in the tents. Loved the feeling of being in our own little forest with monkeys and birds all around. Open air shower is so refreshing. Not a far walk to the most amazing beach. Think its a brilliant idea with different kinds of accommodations available for different budgets and preferences. The Snackbar was wonderful. Stanley and his team really makes amazing food.

Tucked away in the bush and near the beach. Got up for early morning swim on a quiet stretch of beach and the road. Transport a bit pricier as it's further from the main part of Watamu but makes up for it by being less busy. Facilities were great for budget accommodation. Outdoor shower was nice!

A bit out of town and very quite, so make sure you are aware of this 22 € for a tent is quite a lot

Very calm place; guests mostly couples and families. The tents are very cozy, situated in a small forest. Self-cooking kitchen exists, is not very well-equipped though. Food portions are huge! :) Beach is pristine without any restaurants and no „beach boys“ to be seen. Wonderful sunrise over the water if you`re awake early enough.

The place is really well managed, clean, great helpful staff. The tents are comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Great value for money as you have access to the pool and are 5min walk to the beach and ktiteschool. Also they take credit card and check out is easy. The little kitchen is nice with a full clean functioning fridge and freezer.

Little paradise right at the beach. Monkeys are daily visitors, the view is stunning. Very clean communal kitchen and Benjamin and Ken help with everything. I could stay there forever but had to go home after 8 nights :) Thanks for everything!

It is a dream location! We absolutely loved it :) Sleeping in the tent was beautiful. So nice to wake up with the sounds of birds and to watch directly into the green surrounding. It was cleaned every day, so we felt really comfortable. All in all we had everything we needed. A kitchen, pool, very nice viewpoints where you could chill and enjoy the view to the sea, beach is very close and there is even a little outdoor fitnessstudio :) The staff was superfriendly and we met really nice other travellers. All in all we totally recommend this place, we would defenitly come back!
