That booking dot com is slow to advise the hotel of a booking.

From the outside I thought it looked OK, until I got to my room and it was just fantastic. Stunning place to stay.

It was all wonderful.

The hotel is very modern and everything feels fresh and new. The staff were all lovely and the three on-site restaurants provided a lot of choice. I needed to leave for the airport before breakfast was being served so they arranged a takeaway breakfast for me which was lovely.

I was not aware that breakfast was not included in my reservation until I was told by the staff. I thought that it was indicated when I booked! It was huge surprise after I ate breakfast and then was told I had an additional charge to pay!! This was a mistake on the part of Booking.com for not making this more clear.

The staff were very friendly and competent. I especially appreciated Miss Christabel the hostess in the restaurant. She and Miss Lavine wee always smiling and friendly each morning when I went to breakfast.

We were a little frazzled having missed our plane out of Nairobi. The night receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. This warmth extended to all the staff - including restaurant servers. All in all, a very pleasant stay,

Airport transfer. Pick up from the airport at night was fine. But not a great experience the next morning. They asked us what time they wanted us to leave, and we told them 6am they said they would have a driver there. However, it was a full bus they waited to fill up before we left at 6.30. One family with a small baby waited almost 1 hour for the bus to leave. We all discussed the various times we asked for pick up and were given the impression all would be fine. They failed to mention it was a bus for everyone and left once an hour.

I found the prices of meals rather expensive, but understand the cost of living in Kenya has skyrocketed and that it is a 5 star hotel.

Breakfast was of a high standard with many different selections of cold and warm foods. It was an added bonus to find smoked salmon available. The best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten on my travels in a hotel. The bed was divine. Loved the automation in the room for lights, tv, curtains. Chose this hotel as I needed to be close to the airport. An added bonus was the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport.

A new hotel so first impressions was very good.

Brand new hotel, opened Dec23. Very close to Nairobi Airport, only top 2 floors were for sale when we arrived in Jan 24, other floors were almost complete. Beautifully appointed bedrooms with luxury bathrooms and very comfortable beds. No noise from airport or road traffic, despite busy area. Staff are well trained, catered for our every request. Meals and drinks in the restaurant & bars were of great quality - good range of options at the breakfast buffet and lovely dinner options. Pool gets cleaned every night. There's a lovely feel to this hotel with delightful African decor. We received complimentary airport transfers in private car.

The places exterior is spectacular but there are a lot of minor issues here from the extremely slow internet, to poorly done finishes and inexpensive TV's.

Staff is very friendly; Room is clean and comfortable; The food is very tasty; The buffet has plenty of choice and a chef even prepares some food on demand; The location is great; very quiet; The pool is very nice and very big. The temperature of the water is great. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to be able to stay again. Yes, we would highly recommend this hotel!
