Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaPictures are better looking than the actual room (the one we were allocated anyway) and I would recommend the establishment to "fix" or chance the sofa/bed we had. It's doesn't fold out "eventually" and it cushion has seen better days...
I like the fact that it's a direct train ride to Nippori station (with a short downhill walk to the hotel) after a short stop at Narita airport 1 from Narita airport 2. Plenty of convenience stores around and easy to get to Akiba, Daiba and pretty much anywhere else in Tokyo. Also, google map makes it looks farther from Nippori station to the hotel than it actual is 😉

PhilippinesThe heater in the room did not seem to work well. I did not mind but my friend caught colds during our stay and she had a hard time staying warm at night. The shared bath also tend to get really messy at certain times but it’s mostly because of the guests.
The property was clean and very near Nippori Station and Sendagi Station (a quiet neighborhood). Checking in was also a breeze and the staff were very easy to talk to. There was also a 24hr coin laundry beside the cafe which was really helpful as I had to wash clothes I intended to use again during our stay. The price we paid for also included light breakfast which we really appreciate since we didn’t want to get breakfast outside as we start the day.

We like the upper floors shared toilets (2 rooms for 4 ppl) , everything is reasonable for the price. Location is 7/10..... , but on the return stay 1 had 1 room at the 1st sty 4 beds with toilet that was a noise room and the toilet is a make shift toilet.

AustraliaExcellent part of Tokyo if you want a community type vibe. It's unlike Shinjuku/Shibuya etc. One can actually imagine living here and can see single and two storey houses where locals live. Fantastic value on the streets where shops seem to spill out into markets etc

AustraliaThere was a tour group staying on my floor and they had no respect for other people staying at the Hotel. Using a hair drier with their door open late at night, shouting in the hallway, opening and closing their doors over and over again. Left the breakfast area in a complete mess (Tables with rubbish, chairs all over the place etc) and filled up the toasters with their bread but left the Hotel without it, stood in front of the toasters so no-one else could get to them, ignorant and rude. If anything would stop me staying in a place like this it would be because of the other inconsiderate guests.
The staff at this Hotel are awesome! The gentleman I spoke to at check in spoke English very well and had a great sense of humour. The room was much larger than I expected and the shower and bathroom facilities were very welcome. On my second day I had the breakfast area to myself early in the morning which was fantastic given my first morning experience.

BelgiumThe hotel is located in a very charming neighborhood close to JR lines and subway lines, with small shops and restaurants nearby, calm at night and more active during the day. The hotel have a café/restaurant area and a terrace which is nice. Breakfast was included, it was good yet very simple (bread/butter/jam and hot beverages coffee/tea). The room was simple with a balcony (but not really cosy/warm) - and futon beds were comfortable. Toilets / Bathroom are to share, whereas the toilets (men/women) were clean, the bathroom and shower was not really clean for two days (which is mostly due to the way people are using it but it might be worth checking/cleaning it more often).

New ZealandFuton a little harder than others. Showers could have used a bit more cleaning. It would have been nice to have an allocated area where I could eat food from outside.
Location was really great. So close to train/subway stations. Staff were nice.

GermanyThe rooms are poorly furnished, similarly to a YH /Hostel . To my opinion the moquette in the common spaces is dirty and definitely a freshly painted walls would reduce this poor impression. The sofa bed in the three persons room is definitely uncomfortable to : we stayed few days before in another Sakura’s Hotel (at Jimbocho- Tokyo) and we had a better impression, especially compared the same standards .
The dining room, spacious and very cosy; the tables where one may relax himself outside the hotel. The position: 10’ walking to Nippori JR and Metro Station, and just in the middle of a cosy neighbourhood.
