Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe room was absolutely tiny, I expected small being Japan but it was still quite a shock when I got there! If you’re just using it as a base to sleep then it’s fine.
Location was great (right near the station), staff were very friendly and accommodating, hotel was clean and the quality of the toiletry products provided in the room was very high.

United KingdomLike all Japanese hotel room it’s small but everything organised really well.
Excellent location. Metro just opposite the hotel. Nice quiet locations. Station not busy. Tried to get the bus from the airport but they said the buses didn’t go in the area. But saw an airport bus pull up to the hotel next to APA hotel, so not sure what happened there. Complementary water and juice in the fridge. Pyjamas and slippers provided. We had small luggage so size of the room not a problem.

IndiaRooms are cosy but too small I believe. The bathroom is very small Even though most of the attractions can be covered without changing multiple metros, but all of them were over 20 mins by metro which means none of them were at a walking distance. If this concerns you then look for a location that on average is nearby, because I spent a lot on IC card recharge. Two bottles of water is provided as complimentary the first day, for subsequent days you have to manage on your own
Metro was nearby, room was clean and cosy. The nearby place and ambience is good.

SpainPillows! Japanese pillows are very different to western pillows. In this case they include 2 rectangular pillows, small for western standards, but big enough (I've seen hotels with pillows the size of an A4 paper sheet). But still pillows are very flat, and not fluffy. For me this would be a major improvement for the hotel.
It is the typical Japanese business hotel with small bedrooms and set toilets, but in this case with ample common areas and a feeling of space that is not that common in these type of hotels. Rooms are very well thought off. It is not the first time I stayed in this hotel within one year, and I can see that the management is including constant improvements, like a new capsule coffee machine. Breakfast is very peculiar: very Japanese, on a way, frugal and abundant, but with western options if this is your preference in the morning. For sure I'll be back.

United States of AmericaThe entire hotel was dark and claustrophobic - the high ceilings didn't really help - the rooms were extremely cramped and small for 2 people - not enough room for suitcases or even walking from bed to bathroom. The A/C kept turning off, and needed to be turned on again every couple hours. The people at the Front Desk were not allowed to make reservations for restaurants or attractions for guests. The viewing deck on the 17th floor was dark, small and steamy, the windows were frosted up to about 3 ft high, seating was far from the windows, and the space was mainly used as a cooling off area for people who had used the hot spring bath - it would have been nice to have a drink vending machine and bar stools to enjoy the view. Only breakfast was served in the restaurant, and it was a bit of a walk to reach other restaurants and attractions, so we mostly used Uber.
Facilities were very clean and well-kept. Front desk personnel were cheerful and polite. The garden seen from the restaurant was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. The center atrium went up from the 3rd floor to the 17th floor, and allowed outside fresh air and rain, but very little light, to come into the atrium area. A Keurig coffee maker and electric hot water pot were conveniently in the room. Automated check-in and check-out wasn't used as advertised; thankfully, the Front Desk did everything for us.

IsraelCheck out at 10 am is a joke, they do it intentionally so the offer "late check out" till 12 pm for additional cost. This is really absurd and cheap way just to charge guests. Language barrier with reception staff, be prepared to use google translator.
The location was superb. Very compact rooms with almost everything that you could need.

AustraliaWhile they give you two different hardness pillows, they were quite used and flat. My neck hurt from sleeping on it.
Location is very close to the train station and it’s located in an office district. Because of this, I think this hotel is maintained very well to attract those traveling for business. It also felt very safe. Rooms were small but as expected. Best suited for solo travelers and may be cramped if for two adults. Although doable if you don't have plans to stay in the room for long other than to sleep. Room is also well equipped and has everything you need. Great service from staff too. I wanted to check out later because my flight was later at night and they were able to accommodate it for a fee of about 1,000 yen per extra hr, which I thought was reasonable.

AustraliaFor the price, the room was a little small and stuffy when the air conditioning was not on. For some reason, the bathroom floor was raised by around 10 centimetres which was odd so I was constantly stepping down off the bathroom.
The staff were very helpful. There was always going to be a language barrier which I anticipated but they used Google translate and N.Sugiwara spoke English well and helped me a great deal. They even helped organise my courier for one of my luggages.

SpainThe room was extremely small, we couldn’t open the two suitcases we had at the same time. Given that we were finishing our trip, that was quite inconvenient at times (having to open one, then close it, then open the second one, forgot to grab something from the first one…). Also our window led to another building (or a patio) that was only some meters away so everything felt quite claustrophobic. We also got a bag with new towels every day and we found that unnecessary.
The price was good for Tokyo (and we didn’t book our accommodation that much time in advance). It was really close to a metro station that was more or less in the center of the city, so you could easily travel to all parts of the city.

Belgiumthe hotel feels like a factory, there is no personalized service (no possibility to get help to book a restaurant); the overall decoration of the hotel is very tacky.
the location just next to a metro station connected to basically everywhere in Tokyo, really convenient (however the neighborhood itself is not interesting, with no restaurants nor bars nor nothing but it's quiet); the onsen open very late.

Russiaclose to the metro station but often had to walk 500m to the line I needed. a bit of dust on the lamp in the ceiling. no black tea bag, but a complementary juice.
room is small but has everything. the bed is soft. also tv is good: conveniently displays wifi password / check-out and onsen info and can be used to screencast from android. windows open: good for fresh air in cold months. air conditioning works well.

GermanyThe doors are quite loud so we woke up several times when the neighbours came come at night and thought someone would enter our room. Also the room was very small. Ok for a couple of nights but without any storage room and with two people having backpacks and lots of stuff with them there was often chaos.
We stayed for four nights at the beginning of our trip through Japan. The hotel is in the Center of Tokyo in the business district which makes it a good point to start your exploration of the city with the benefit of staying in a calm area at the same time. Wouldn’t want to stay in shiyoda. The onsen spa is super nice and cozy.

United KingdomCheck in is 3pm which is a bit mean. Tv has limited channels. Breakfast was extra so didn’t partake but found super options in Akasaka and much cheaper too. It’s a big hotel so lift service can be a little slow at times . All that said I’m staying again at the end of my trip
Great location near lots of rail lines super safe as it’s opposite the prime minister’s office! Nearby shops and restaurants on the other side of the shrine across the main road. 10 minutes to Tokyo station similar to Shibuya with no changes. Clean and comfortable and although smallish rooms the bed was high enough to put all baggage underneath. Onsen on top floor and robes provided clean daily. Nespresso machine and kettle in room 👍🏻 and lovely little bath Express checkout by dropping keycard in postbox in foyer. Super convenient.
