Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Everything was great
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, everything was perfect, the room is super spacious, clean and beautiful. Private bathroom, nice breakfast every morning . They have parking space right in front of the property. 5 Minute drive from Petra visitor center

The room is located a short way from the centre and entrance to Petra but it is also up a steep hill, so the room is probably better suited to travellers with cars.
This is probably the best value room in Wadi Musa. You get the same level of room that you'd get in the 4 star hotels at around half the price. The organiser is also very helpful and the small breakfast is a bonus.

The place is super cute, clean and has everything you need. The host was very nice and gave us a box for breakfast which had everything we needed for breakfast. The apartment is conveniently located if you have a car and very close to Petra. Also, the morning prayer is not as loud as in downtown Wadi Musa. Definitely recommend.

Perfect, clean and simple accommodation near Petra. Good size rooms, very clean with all the simple facilities required for a fuss free stay. Breakfast was fantastic and unexpected. Ahmed the owner is one of the nicest people and his hospitality is second to none. On the second night he had a family emergency and had to drive to the hospital in Amman in the middle of the night and yet he still kindly made us a breakfast box and brought it to us the night before, which was very thoughtful. Beds are on the firm side, which was ok with me but less kind to my wife. Can’t beat the value and we would both stay again without hesitation for a short stop in Petra/Wadi Musa!

The location, staff, food, cleanliness, I mean everything was perfect! The owner, who lives in the same apartment block was just exactly what it's needed by a traveler, attentive and available at all times. We have been travelling the past two months and this is by far the best spot for lodging. Will definitely stay here again.

The taxis don't know this location. So save it in your phone so you show them
Great host. Gave us great advice and tips on the city and booked taxis for us. Room was clean and well managed.

I loved everything.
Loved everything about the property. Was very clean and host went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our stay. Very friendly and it’s only 5 mins drive from Petra visitor center.

Everything. This place seems like brand new. Everything works as it should. The host Ahmed was great, very polite, attentive and helpful. The breakfast he brought us was awesome! Highly recommended.

It was an amazing stay, the rooms are beautiful and the service is excellent. They have services available at all times for delivery to all areas of the town at cheap prices. There is also a professional photographer who accompanies you throughout the days of the trip in Jordan. A massage service is also available. I hope the work continues like this to continue your success, Mr. Ahmed.

5-star service. The room and bathroom are clean, tidy and fragrant. The place is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is delicious and fresh. As for dinner, it was a wonderful and unique experience. Live cooking. I learned how to cook delicious camel kebab. They also have really wonderful activities like a city tour and henna painting. The owner is hospitable and helpful and told me that I The first person to live in this place. How lucky I am. It really deserves evaluation and support. You will pay accomodation with breakfast, but the breakfast you will never receive from this owner. He wrote us in the morning that he had an accident and he will not bring us breakfast. (actually there was no place to take a breakfast) He told us he will return us 10 dolars, but he never did. I tried to reach him many times on whatsapp, but he was not replying.
