Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BarbadosThe downside of the Jamaica Pegasus is the limited variety of food options for a leading hotel. Breakfast options were adequate for cooked food, but lacking for fresh items such as dairy products, deli meats, tea menu. And, while dinner offering at the dining venues was satisfying for one meal, a person quickly runs out of options during stays exceeding 2 nights. Given my health condition, I must admit the dinners I've had were overly seasoned with salt. On a different note, the hotel's large and well-designed pool closes at 6:00PM, meaning that business customers - which form a large trench of the clientele - may not be able to access the pool after business hours. While this is a personal issue, I suppose it may not affect the majority of business customers in their preferred use of down time. Finally, I've had the opportunity to try 5 different hotels in the Kingston area in recent years. Unfortunately, I would have to rate the dining option no higher than 4th place. But, I should emphasise, despite the somewhat restricted menu, I did enjoy the comfort and variety of large spaces offered by the hotel.
I received a complimentary upgrade to a club floor room, with access to the lounge. This was in reaction to my request for a quiet room for health reasons. This way of handling my request exceeded my expectation and I was really grateful for it. The refurbished room I stayed in met my expectations of a leading Kingston hotel in terms of comfort and was above-average in size. The style of the refurbished rooms is classic, but with a few understated modern touches. The bedding was comfortable and I appreciated the different types of pillows provided for comfort. Breakfast at the club lounge was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was serene and the waiter was courteous, responsive and considerate. Much appreciated. Finally, the large size of the pool is indicative of the impression of space afforded to the clientele of this hotel. This impression of spaciousness and comfort, perhaps, was the most outstanding feature of the Pegasus and gives the hotel a competitive edge in New Kingston. So, if food options can be expanded and improved, the Jamaica Pegasus will remain my hotel choice in New Kingston.

Cayman IslandsNothing... maybe if there's imperfection, it is toppled by the good attitude of the staffs!
All the staffs I encounter were awesome and accommodating (from the reception, restaurants and from the housekeeping)! Well trained, well educated and well mannered personnels. Thanks also for upgrading me for free to a Royal Club. Foods are good too!

JamaicaMy room was small for the price , when a room is booked on line , the guest should not wait over 1 hour at the desk before going to their room after a long flight. The JUTA driver didn't wait for the guest.
The front entrance and lobby was presentable .

CanadaThe air conditioner broke. We spent two nights in the heat, even after the engineers tried to fix the issue. We weren't moved until the last night.
The breakfast was always delicious with good options. The food was healthy and fresh. The dining room staff were attentive.

United States of AmericaSome furniture are a little outdated specially on the first floor to where that restaurant is The driveway outside towards the hotel could be a little bit more updated
The fact that you have to use the room key in the elevator to get to your room that was a great idea that make you feel safer That little area that cover over the pool section the balcony that was also great. It’s a nice quiet place. And the lobby was very clean and look very beautiful with all my traveling overseas and also in America. That’s a very updated Lobby.

Saint LuciaSimilar Bfast was served on most days. Not many local fruit juices available or local fruits to consume. Smoothies and on the spot juicing of veggies like carrots and kale waould make a wonderful option for the health conscious individuals.
Bfast was excellent! One of the best I have had anywhere in the world. Staff was available and courteous. great variety for both drinks and food whether you were vegetariane or not. Waiting times was minimal or even negligible. Extremely easy to access and no pressure to leave in a hurry. 5 Star quality
