The welcome you get from Katia is second to none . You are made to feel like part of the family. Location is fantastic with just a 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Citta Della Pieve. Food was very nice too. Nice large room.

We loved it all!!!

Loved it all. beautiful location away from everything and everyone. We stayed here half way through our 3 week European driving excursion. Pre -arranged spa and massages. Even though restaurant was closed, the owner and her mother served us a private dinner - and so delicious. They made us feel like we were staying in someone’s home rather then a hotel.

We had a lovely welcome from Katia, who speaks great English and was always helpful. The hotel is a charming building, with just a few rooms and a very personal welcome. The bed and room was very comfortable, we had a balcony with a view out to the hills. The breakfast featured home made cakes. The walled town of Citta is a short walk away and has very well cared for ancient buildings with history, art, some great restaurants and independent shops (and not too many tourists). The location is close to the beautiful Lake Trasimeno and its attractive towns and boat trips

What an outstanding experience. Katja and Alessandro are a dream of hosts team. Friendly but not intimidating, helpful on questions around what to do, which road is the best to go to.... etc. The location is a dream, an old castle recently renovated with six guest rooms. The rooms are equipped with all amenities you need, big rooms with loads of space and big bathroom. All located in a quiet environment but still walking distance to Citta Della Pieve. Whenever you are in the region, you have to plan your stay there. It is worth every penny (well cent) you have to pay. Nothing else then highly recommend this place. Ah... the food... The restaurant prepares freshly local food on a high level. When you think it is finally over, Alessandro comes around the corner with some "extras" you have to try. La mama is preparing all the delicious sweets for the morning for breakfast. Just fantastic.

The property is full of character. The owner was incredibly helpful and the food was excellent. Our room had its own tower access to the roof up a spiral staircase. Fabulous.

If you like the true Italian romantic vibe, this is your place… Not a single negative comment, maybe a few crickets less would be nice… ;-)

this place is all what you expect from an authentic classic Italian stay. The hosts are so friendly, accommodating and helpful. They put the guests always first. Katja is a true host, she thrives in giving the guests a pleasant stay and, it sounds cliché, goes for the extra mile. Breakfast is a feast of sweet and savoury pastry, dinner is of a great standard and the scenery is stunning.

The rooms are decorated for the period, with sheers on the windows and over the beds. These were a bit dusty, and could have been cleaned more frequently. However, the place itself was very clean.

The absolute best thing about this B&B was the staff. Katia is the owner, and is super helpful, very responsive to requests, and is solely focused on guests having a positive experience. She was outstanding. Her 'mama' also works there and she is the quintessential Italian mama, who is so nice, very engaging, and looking to make our stay everything it can be. Breakfast was good every day (especially the homemade strudel). We had dinner there one night and the meal and service were excellent.

The fact that we had to leave one day ;)

The enthusiastic owners Katia and Alessandro went through great lengths to make our stay as wonderful as possible and with effect! So besides the beautifully located castle we were pampered all day. Breakfast was extensive and dinner wonderful, with some great wines too! Our room wasvlarge and wonderful, but in fact the entire place is lovely. More than recommended. The town is also worth a few visits!

Katia was an exceptional host, she was able to advise us on places to go to, good addresses to visit, wine tastings. Beyond a very personalized help, her place is a true gem, fabulous location with all one can ask for in a hotel. From amazing views, great in house restaurant, wine selection and advise... I would definitely come back.

This property is really beautiful, situated just outside the city but still close to the center which is reachable easily on foot, after having parked the car in the parking space of the hotel. Unfortunately we only stayed one night as we were just passing by but I'd love to go back and spend more days there, as the swimming pool seemed very nice and la Pieve is an astonishing city!

Fantastic little family owned hotel. Management went beyond for us to have a great holiday. Lovely garden, nice pool. Location 7 minutes walk from lively village. Best Italian experience :)

Nothing really. Italian TV channels only built we were too busy to notice.

Only a 10 minute walk from a wonderful town centre. Property was beautiful , full of period character and history, with a great room that had lovely views. Breakfast table was great, especially the wonderful array of cakes made by Nona. Katya, our host, was always helpful and cheerful and made the Relais feel like a ‘home from home’. All in all a great location to explore Assisi, Montepulciano, Orvieto etc,
