Great location and walking distance to everything you need. Very easy from train station. Excellent dining on property with stellar service. The breakfast buffet had about everything you could desire including baked goods. We weren’t there during beach weather but that area was spectacular. Loved our balcony view. An elegant property with a friendly feel.

Hotel is in a great location, near the station and on the waterfront. They have very welcoming and professional staff. It’s a traditional Italian style with beautiful gardens and a super spa/pool. Food in the restaurant and waiter service is superb. Really recommend the chateaubriand. We stayed in room 405 which is in the villa, not main hotel. It overlooks the bay and has a stunning view! Modern bathroom and regular housekeeping. All round, it’s a wonderful hotel.

Breakfast was very good. The grounds and the room are beautiful. Angelo, the evening concierge was super helpful and aided me when I hurt my knee.He brought me cold compresses and anti-inflammatory cream.He was helpful in the early morning to expedite our check-out and taxi , get us a quick breakfast, all to not miss our train .

Had to pay a small charge for parking but more than happy as we knew the car was safe. Other than that the hotel was perfect. Very friendly reception staff.

Excellent, what a fantastic Italian hotel. Slightly aging around the edges but a wonderful place full of charm, elegance and class. Even in February the gardens were amazing, we must return in summer to witness their full glory.

Great location 2min from the train station, 1min from a bus stop and nice walk to the beach an center (10min). Plus, great attention and super clean. We needed to leave our bags while we’re in Portofino and they didn’t have any problem with it, plus they sold the bus tickets in the hotel so it was super easy to get them. When it comes to the city, beautiful but not that many things to do.

Everything was positive! Definitely would stay here again.

We only booked this hotel because my children were staying here and we wanted to be close to them. I was surprised and pleased at how nice this everything was….. From the seaside views, the beautifully landscaped property, the proximity to town. The breakfast was excellent, as were the staff and the facilities. I enjoyed the indoor pool, spa, and sauna.

We travelled in late September when it was a bit cool, breezy and raining for most of our 4 day stay. But they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner outside which was rather uncomfortable. So pack a hoodie.

The grounds were well maintained with diverse and beautiful plants and gardens. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Most rooms overlook the waterfront

There is no iron in the room and they don't even bring the iron to to room as a service. If you need ironing, you have to leave your clothes for hotel laundry with payment and also it's not a good choice for short holiday to wait them back.

The landscape of the hotel is so good that whereever you walk by you have a great view. Also the location is very good. The beach that belongs to hotel was very close to our room. And the balcony shows you the lovely view of the hotel and santa margherita sea. The breakfast is also satisfying.
