Everything was perfect for us.

Perfect location for exploring Lucca and the surrounding cities. Comfy queen bed and great shower with hot water! Kitchen had everything I needed for cooking. Would definitely choose this home again. Maurizio was a great host, always available if needed but we had no problems at all.

The flat was lovely, spacious, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Maurizio was super helpful, he recommended places to eat and offered to make the bookings our our behalf - we went to a couple of restaurants he suggested and they were excellent. The flat is on the top floor up three flights of stairs which wasn’t a problem for us and gave us a great view of a couple of towers across the rooftops.

These are minor niggles. Utility area could do with a bit of a refresh Towels a little thin and bathroom rug needs replacing Blind in bedroom skylight needs repair/changing

Superb host nothing was too much trouble. Welcoming and warm but not intrusive. Comfortable and cosy stylish apartment. Very light and airy with good aircon. Sofa bed was excellent . Brilliant location not far from all attractions but not on main day trippers route.

It would have been nice to have an instruction booklet to help use the dishwasher and the washer/dryer, as well as a map of the city and some pamphets on things to do in Lucca as the Information Centre was absolutely no help.

This accommodation was fantastic. Located inside the walls of the old city is so nice and the place to stay if you're visiting Lucca. The train station is a 15 minute walk, but with luggage allow an extra 10 minutes to navigate the cobble stones. Don't underestimate the stairs when you have to take your luggage up - the steps are lovely and old but not built for modern suitcases! There is lots of space to relax and having a full sized fridge, kitchen facilities, dishwasher and washer/dryer was so good for our 6 night stay. Maurizio - our host- was fantastic. He collected us from the station as it was raining and dropped us back there when we left, he gave us excellent suggestions for local eateries and was available whenever we had any questions. Everything is within walking distance of the apartment. We loved Lucca and staying here was a big part of that.

The property is spacious and well furnished throughout. Location is perfect, right next to a nice square near a scenic canal. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for those enjoy cooking. The real highlight is the owner, who is very friendly and extremely helpful, our acquaintance is the best part of my time in Lucca.

The appartement is very big and accomodating for two people. It is tastefully furnished and has really everything we could wish for. The bedroom is upstairs, like a calm little nest and we truly slept like rocks. everything can be reached by foot and we enjoyed our walks all over the beautiful town of Lucca. Additionally, we got to borrow bicycles from our lovely host. We used them to go for a beautiful daytrip through Toskana landscape. Our host Maurizio really was so lovely and welcoming and was there for any and all questions. He also revommended an amazing restaurant to us and made the reservation for us. we will definitely come back!

What wonderful hosts are Maurizio and Laura - we felt welcomed and treated to the best of Lucca. Maurizio's recommendations for restaurant were superb - we dined better than in any other place we've visited in Italy. The location was excellent, kitchen very handy, bath ample, and bed loft was extra comfortable and cozy.

Maurizio is a wonderful host. He was alwasy very responsive and flexible. He met me at the train station and accompanied me to the apartment. The apartment is in a wonderful location and is extemely quiet. I had the most restful sleep!

Just a few small issues... No soap provided to wash hands in the bathroom or for showering? One roll of toilet paper for a 4 night stay.. Toilet seat broken. No coffee or tea provided for a cup of coffee or tea in the mornings.

Host Maurizio, was so wonderful to pick us up at the train station. Thank you. He did a great job showing us the apartment on the first night. Apartment is spacious, well furnished, comfortable, clean and in a good location.
