It was a wonderful experience. Flavio was extremely helpful and generous, he made even more than I would ask. Besides helping with instructions and navigation in Lucca, he offered additional options for breakfast, made a free transfer from the train station and even agreed to keep my luggage at the checkout day and deliver it to the train station. The room was cozy, quiet and comfy, with a nice garden. Will definitely return here if I have to stay in Lucca again! Thank you Flavio!

Flavio was very helpful in recommending touristic places to visit in and around Lucca. He also gave us advice on where to park, where to eat or where to find the best finocchiona (typical salami from Tuscany). We loved everything about our stay in Giardino dei Poeti, especially the breakfast.

The accommodation is very pleasant and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay 🏡. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, and the whole B&B is very clean. There is a fridge and bottled water in the breakfast area and a minibar for extra drinks.🥂 Breakfast is delicious, offering both sweet (jam, croissants, pastries, fruit juices) and savoury options (salami, cheese) and coffee or tea. ☕ The accommodation has a large garden with sunbeds and tables. 🌱The host is genuinely friendly, helpful. On our arrival he offered us a map of the town and explained about the main attractions. It's really like visiting a tourist information centre. 😊 We planned to explore the city by bike, and he offered us the option of renting city bikes for more than affordable price.🚲 The city centre is only a 15-minute leisurely ride away. We enjoyed our time there very much and will definitely return on our next visit to Tuscany.

The apartment is clean, tidy and there is everything you need. There is parking place in front of the house. There is beautiful garden. This place is near Lucca. It is near Pisa and beaches in Viareggio, too. The host is very nice, polite, helpful and friendly. Thank you very much.

It was cold inside, especially in the breakfast area. I tried to heat my room up with the air conditioner - but it was only selective. I definitely recommend it in summer, because I think it won't get too hot inside.

Livio was very kind and gave me useful tips for my trip. The room was very tidy.

Great host Livio was superfriendly and helpful! The room was very nice, with a bit of special atmosphere (wooden beam ceiling). Perfectly clean. Nice breakfasts (Italian sweets, but you cen also ask for tosts, cheese and salami).

Well, actually everything was fine. For some the location of the B&B might be not close enough to the centro of Lucca, but on the other hand one can avoid the tourist crowd (to which I belonged as well, of course...). One can take the car and park it for free not far away from the city wall, but I took the opportunity to walk which got me in touch with the ordinary daily life of a city, what I like. And it helped me discover a huge Coop shopping centre nearby, which was pretty handy.

I liked the whole design of the B&B and its large garden, especially the tastefully decorated room. One could see that everything had been neatly set up, with great care and love for the details. Livio, yet also his aid, were always very friendly and helpful whenever I needed it. For breakfast you could have dolce (cakes, muffins), but also cereals an yoghurt, or toast with salami, crudo and cheese. Fresh fruit was availabe also during the day. And of course, everything was very clean! If I had wanted, I could have borrowd, for free, one of the bicycles in the garden to go for a ride to the city centre. I would always recommend this place to my friends and will try to stay there again, if I come back to Lucca.

It was a small apartment with a fridge, kettle and hob facilities. Very clean and comfortable and we could park right outside. We had use of their lovely garden with deckchairs and hammocks. Livio and his Mum were so friendly and eager to please. Livio showed where to go and helped us with directions and spoke English very well. We would recommend this lovely place which is not far to Lucca old town to walk or by car.
