I loved the gardens, the setting is beautiful. The suite was large, comfortable and very clean. Rita was an excellent host.

Staff took care of all our needs. They even did our laundry as we are walking the Francigena. Restaurant was only open for lunch on Sunday. But it was superb. For dinner they sent us to the Bistrot in town a few 100 meters away. And it was so good that we visited twice. Overall one of the best places we’ve stayed on the via francigena.

Firstly, internet was awful. It's difficult to understand how, with today's technology, internet service could be as slow & inconsistent as what we experienced over our 4 day stay. Secondly, our sole experience in the official dining room was equally disappointing. While the fact that only 3 rooms were being occupied during our stay could explain the rather limited menu, it does not explain why our food was served lukewarm. Our lukewarm steak arrived undercooked, not tender at all and was served without a steak knife (try cutting into a tough piece of undercooked meat with a dull knife). For the other nights we simply requested the availability of a microwave to reheat the take-out food that we could pick-up on our trip back to the hotel (something we'd done on our last trip here) but were told they couldn't do this time and that we'd have to ask the service person to do for us. Not wanting to keep an employee on stand-by, we decided to pick-up pizza. We felt our request wasn't abusive but given we were the only guests during our last 3 days, keeping an employee on stand-by did not make sense to us.

Could order what we wanted for breakfast and Rita was a real "treasure". She was always discret and our room was always serviced when we were out. She & Abraham were so helpful really made us comfortable and welcomed.

Everything was perfect. Great variety each breakfast and wonderful local products and ingredients were the focus. All who worked at the hotel were passionate and very accommodating to help at all hours.

We were unaware at the time of the booking that it is also an event space with an event planned for this night. We had driven from the hustle of Naples to be in quiet. Unfortunately there was a sweet 18 party until 12:30am that kept us up and was louder in the room than our hotel in Naples. The manager gave us a slight discount on dinner and a bottle of wine when we checked out which we appreciated. At least they were willing to try to do something to make it right. I would double check before booking as to whether an event is happening to those interested. Because events also utilize the pool area which is a major draw for the hotel. Absolutely beautiful hotel otherwise and truly special hosts!

I loved meeting the owner. A very kind and jovial man. He and his wife care a great deal about this space. They take impeccable care of it.

This is a delightful and very special hotel with an incredible chef, beautiful gardens, one of the best pools I've ever been in with birds swooping over and wonderful views. Delicious wine from the local vinyard. It is also excellent value for money.

The old town nearby with the castle at the top of the hill was a quite run down and it appeared that bit many locals were not living there anymore. The pool was also not available for use (which we didn’t know about until we arrived) however we never had a chance to use it as we had to leave early the next day. it did look very nice however!

Very good venue for a wedding. Pool and views were great.. We were the only guests staying for the night that we were there and we had a personal chef serve us a local dinner and we drank the owners white wine which was amazing. The fish and meat / cheese boards were a very good starter. Great venue for a group of friends to sit around the pool and enjoy some local wine.

The soundproof is bad. You can hear the another room's bathroom and whats happening outside the window.

The place by itself is very beautiful- nice garden, pool and rooms. Staff is very helpful and polite. Rooms are very clean, looking good and comfy.

Nothing though the address on Booking.com #10 is different to the actual address #20.

The presentation of the grounds, the welcome and the peace and quiet. we had the place to ourselves for nearly the whole afternoon. Having been driving and traveling for 3 weeks it was fantastic to sit by the huge pool. The Riardo Castle on the hill behind the B&B made for a stunning back drop. We were well looked after by the owner Cesare sharing his wonderful wine and Giovanni the chef who prepared a fantastic dinner. Eating outside on the patio overlooking the pool and gardens was a real treat. First class experience. we’ll worth the slight detour from Tuscany to Pompeii.

Everything was perfect

Alll meals were served at the table -which is preferable regarding corona . The food was amazing . We let the cook decide the menu for lunch and evening meal. We were served local specialities and excellent Wines from their vineyard. The chef was excellent and the service top class. He did everything to please us and match our tastes and appetitte. Although most communication was through Google translate. - there were no problems. To be highly recomended as a gourmet experience and reasonably Priced. The food was light , beautifully prepared and service was good. We stayed 2 nights and relaxed by the pool during the day. Excellent stop-over place - if travelling South from Rome.

As nice as the place is, I do not think it is being run well as a B&B. Other than Abraham, there was really no staff. In addition, the breakfast was not great. The towels were quite stiff and actually abrasive. The swimming pool had no grab rail so my wife could not even use it. There were no hooks to hold the shutters open, so they would slam shut in any breeze.

The facility is lovely inside and out. Interesting history and well maintained with nice views of the castle. Perfect for any kind of event. The owner was very nice. The staff member, Abraham, was very kind and helpful.

The word "Luxury" in the B&B probably applies to the fact that there is a pool which can be used. However, we were more than once asked to vacate the pool area and not use it due to events. This is very annoying as there is not much else one can undertake in Riardo. The Management of the event never once came to us and explained the situation, but sent the staff to tell us to leave within 10 minutes. This was a very negative side to our stay.

The property itself for a B&B is good, it's clean and central. The staff that looked after us (Rita, Ibrahim and Giovanni) were fantastic and made our stay warm and welcoming. If it were not for them, the stay would have been very disappointing.

Difficult to find entrance and gain access. There is no main office or lobby to go to and could not find anyone to connect with for some time. We did not recieve a proper final invoice and it would have been nice to know about the retail products, including the wine prior to making the final payment and checking out.

Breakfast and location were good. Breakfast would have been excellent if a protein (eggs or meat of some kind) would have been included.
