How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I wouldn’t state that the breakfast is included, you’ll receive a ticket allowing you to grab a coffee and a croissant in the Cafe next door.
Staff if very friendly, the room is exactly like in the pictures. Location is quite central, but be prepared to walk up some hills on your way back, that’s just life in Naples.

The area around is a typical example of local historical areas, however is not very clean. However the touristic old town centre is close. The bar where we got vouchers for breakfast we did not like much...
I went to I tetti because I needed to be at the archaeological museum for work, on fact is quite close me and my son have been in the apartment with the double bed on the . Everything so clean, bed very comfortable. My friend enjoyed the double room in the same mini apartment. The place was refurbished with nice taste and very nice paintings on the wall.

Huge issues with water in the bathroom: every time, I had to wait a few minutes for warm water to start pouring, and when it did, the water pressure went down. Then, cold water again. It definitely needs some fixing.
Comfortable beds, spacious, quiet rooms, cleanness, very welcoming and warm staff, great communication with the host, well-equipped kitchen.

The landlady was very lovely, giving us advice on the places to see in Naples, being very available for us even early in the morning. The room was perfect for us 3 for a night, we would have loved to stay longer! Even is it's close to a noisy street, we didn't hear anything from the room, and it was pretty close to metro stations, so easy to reach the historical center or the harbour. In a nutshell, a great stay!

Our friend's room had no Wi-Fi signal at all and was generally noisy. No one entered our rooms during our stay (3 nights) to at least take our garbage out. I wanted to ask for a thinner pillow but I ended up not to, because usually no one is around to ask for something. On the day of departure when we payed, we faced the owner who had an indifferent attitude and said no thank you or goodbye which gave me a really bad impression. Finally the area is very filthy but we selected it due to the fact that all around in different directions are metro stations.
Our room was spacious, clean and had really good Wi-Fi signal. On arrival the owner welcomed us and gave us advise on the city as well as a map.

After arriving early I was told I couldn't go into my room until right on check in, and they would not let me eat my food on the terrace as it was "for guests only" as though I was a stranger off the street. I was told to wait in the pool area which was full of flies. Driver who picked up from the airport was rude.
Clean, good to have transport to airport. The young gentlemen who took me to the airport in the morning was lovely and polite.

The shower did turn warm when I was there, but I'm sure that is not the landlord's fault.
The place was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked great.

The breakfast point was located across the street in local cafe with poor choice.
Nice apartment in the city centre, ideal for starting point for all the trips. Air condition was very appreciated. The owner let us storage our luggages in the apartment till the afternoon.

Our room only had a little window, but we knew this beforehand. The breakfast was OK, in a cafe in front of the accommodation. nothing exceptional.
The owner received us at midnight (as our flight arrived late in Napoli), she was kind and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean, and the common areas were very nice. It is located in a charming old building with modern comforts. The air conditioner was working perfectly. The locations was good, around 15 min walk from the city centre.

The only thing I would personally like is a small fridge/freezer in the apartment and I mentioned that to Patrizia, however is a personal choice, still lovin it.
I tetti is the dreaming place you want to book for your trip to Naples. Located in the centre of the city not far from the museo or cavour underground stations and main restaurants and famous bakery ( poppella and leopoldo). Patrizia the host is a really caring woman who from the beginning made me felt as I was at home, I had an excellent meet and greet. The apartment was spacious with air conditioning a little kitchen and a balcony and if I am going back I will strongly try to book it again. Everything was clean and nice, I personally recommend for your future visit to Naples.

No wifi although it said there will be. They told us they will fix it but they didn’t. Owner’s english wasn’t that good for foreign customers. I strictly chose stay for 2 people in one room with separate beds in the booking app but upon arrival I was told it’s only for one so I was charged 65€+. This could also be misunderstanding because of booking.com but I don’t know that.
Clean, nice bathroom, breakfast in price. Owner was very nice.
