The hotel could take care of some minor maintenance issues and really turn this place into a next level experience. An upgrade of the bedding would be welcome, if not entirely necessary. We went in the off season so they dock and pool were closed as expected but I would have liked to have been able to walk down to the level of the pool deck.

Large room. Unbelievable view. Ridiculously convenient location. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Beautifully decorated.

Not your typical beach hotel, but we loved it!

The hotel is older, but with a certain grandezza,, and the location and the view is worthwhile the not so modern amenities. The location for the beach is a deck next to the harbor entrance, which we liked very much as entertainment, as the water was clean.

The view from the terrace over the gulf of Naples and of the Vesuvio! The access to the sea (and the pool) was open until the 31/10 and the water was clear and warm (23° C), beach towels were provided on a daily basis. We had double rooms instead of the singles we booked, with sea view around the corner or through the bathroom. Breakfast was very good, with muesli as well fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, bacon and jam, chocolate, cake. The rooms were mostly with high ceilings and large windows. The bathrooms had bidets and showers and enough towels, changed on a daily basis. The hotel is less than five minutes from the station of the Circumvesuviana and the buses to the Amalfi-Coast, for sightseeing.

    Nothing

Exceptional location. Amazing room with 2 balconies, beautiful furnishing, enormous bathroom with spa bath and fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Staff were lovely. Stunning terrace outside with panoramic views of bay of Naples. Short walk into Sorrento centre and train station. Elegant bar with live music (piano). Far better than expected. Our bed was massive and firm but really comfortable. Son was on double sofa bed which he said was comfy.

Hotel very dated. Basic breakfast I had to ask for gluten free option as it wasn't out. Doesn't really have much atmosphere, music playing in bar etc. Could be because it's end of season. The room and bathroom were huge. But the shower was very small, could hardly move around in it! Mini bar was basic. Tea and coffee were also basic and milk wasn't replaced.

We upgraded our room to one of the suites and it was huge. Three balconies in the room bed was very comfortable. You are really paying for location and views. Staff friendly. Short walk from train station

We stayed here from October 1st to October 4th. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel location was so ideal. It was a short 5 minute walk from the train station and less than 10 mins to the centre, all the shops and restaurants. We were very lucky with the weather and therefore we were able to enjoy the fabulous jetty and pool area. The breakfast was good, plenty of nice fresh fruit to choose from, yoghurts, cereals etc. Many pastry options and hot food also. The coffee was very nice. The area where breakfast was served is spectacular, looking over the sea and a view of Mount Vesuvius in the distance. The room was immaculate. The decor is old fashioned but suits the style of the hotel. Bathroom was immaculate and we received fresh towels whenever we required them. Cannot fault the hotel. It was exactly what i had expected and more. We were celebrating my husbands 40th birthday and we were upgraded to a beautiful suite which was so generous and greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Sometimes down at the pool there were no towles and no one to ask for more. Our bed was bad..

Perfect location, short walki to the main square. The pool and beach area was nice, you needed to wear a swim cap in the pool but it was ok. The breakfast was EXCELENT and you had the perfect view from the terazze.

The decor in the rooms is a little bit dated.

Beautiful old style glamour- stunning looking hotel with great sea views. Comfortable bed and a large terrace outside my room. The location is excellent- a very short walk to the centre of Sorrento and also close to several bars and restaurants. Very friendly reception staff. Breakfast overlooking the sea was great.

Overall the hotel is nice and would stay again but parts of the hotel look very tired or are in need of renovation, and parts actually look like an abandoned hotel. The a/c in our room wasn't great, although technically it was a heat wave, so it might have been that.

Location of the property is great, with the views over Naples Bay, access to the sea and short walk to town. The pool is nice size and clean and breakfast on the terrace was lovely to wake up to.

The beds were hard and the shower was very awkward. Could use a little freshening of the rooms and main lobby area.

The location was close to the train station and in a beautiful quiet section of Sorrento. Walking distance to the center of town was less than 10.minutes. I loved our view from the balcony and the port to go to Capri or Naples were a close walk. The morning breakfast staff and front desk were so gracious and kind. Delicious breakfast every morning with a beautiful view. We liked having both the beach and pool areas for lounging.

The mattress could do with a luxurious topper for a more cosseting feel. The beds have good mattresses but could be a little too firm for some tastes.

Location in Sorrento can't be beaten. Close to transport hubs with stunning views of the Bay of Naples. Staff attentive, charming and professional.

The hotel itself is a little outdated, the water taps to use the bath makes a loud rattling noise but shower is fine, the plugs are not in a very accessible place, and the walls are thin.

Great location, takes 5 min to walk to main square with all the shops and restaurants and can get down to the port very easily too. We stayed in the room with the seaside view which was stunning, can see mount vesuvius as well as getting the perfect sunset every evening. Great breakfast spread and staff were lovely including the hotel cat!
