The location is perfect. The room is really pretty, clean and the bed is really comfortable. The communication with the owner is also great. Just the shower is a little bit small, but for me this is not a big thing, it is a great price/quality room.

There was a smell going out from the bathroom pipes, but nothing horrible. The breakfast consists only from packed staff and fruit. The street is little louder, but not a problem for us.

Beautiful room with picturesque view. Directly in the city center, everything was so close. The owners were very nice. The refreshment in the dining room was available all the time. Coffee was good. The price was reasonable.

Easy to find the property. We went by walk from Railway station what was ~ 20 min. Easy and nice walk what gives the way to explore a bit of city. Room was great, loved this old style furniture. Location was perfect - main historical sites in short walking distance! There was balcony connecting living room where we enjoyed morning coffee and nice view to the main street.

breakfast is quite basic do not expect any hams or cheese ..... but I liked my stay.. the location near the old town is rescue...

Fantastic property in the heart of Verona. The Opera was barely 5 minutes away and everything was easily walkable. Our room was huge, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The hosts provided a lovely breakfast spread and checking in and out was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

I had not understood (presumably my fault) that breakfast, included in the price, would not be served. An abundant selection of packaged snacks, both sweet and savoury, were prepared ready for guests, together with a coffee machine and a fridge with water and soft drinks, but I went to the bar nearby to have a proper breakfast.

Casa Esvael is a converted private home, in a dignified building in a street containing palazzi of great architectural value. It is comfortable and elegant, with antique furniture, but a splendidly modern bathroom. The gentleman (I presume the owner) who met me on arrival was very courteous.

The only drawback was that our bathroom (large and with a bathtub) was outside of our bedroom, so we had to cross over the dining area but we were aware of that so it wasn't too bad and we had our robes!

We were met at our arrival by Luigi who showed us around. Our room was large, airy and beautifully furnished with an incredible Murano chandelier. The whole flat was beautifully decorated. The location was a few steps away from Porta Borsari, one of the magnificent gates of Verona and a few steps from the arena. restaurants and shops abounded. Although it was on a main road, it wasn't noisy. We will certainly come back and we highly recommend Casa Esvael.

This place definitely exceeded our expectations. The room is artsy, big, and comfortable - I particularly enjoyed the comfy bed and pillows. The hosts were very flexible and allowed for late check out - they waited for us, gave us a tour, and explained everything - even recommended a restaurant and helped with a good iron. You get free snacks, a cute terrace, and a large, very clean bathroom. There's a common living room-style area, which is such a nice touch. I can imagine how this location (as a whole) would be an excellent fit for a group. You need to exit the room to access the bathroom, but it didn't bother us one bit. The location is amazing - 3 minutes walk from the arena.

This was the most charming of properties - beautifully decorated, perfectly located for the Arena. We were greeted by our host who was so welcoming and helpful. I can thoroughly recommend.
