Staff were very friendly and helpful, even helped to make some phone calls to our car hire company as we had a flat tyre. The buildings feel medieval, it’s quite and quaint. The place is clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing, worth the extra euros for what you get. The restaurant is also fantastic but on the pricey end. The pool and tennis courts made for a great afternoon with the kids too!

Romantic property with spacious and very clean apartments! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - always charming and effort! For group trips we highly recommend the theme nights Antonio offers - the food was very delicious and the house wines excellent! Don't forget to try the house olive oil, it is very tasty. We combined our family vacation with our wedding celebration - everything was perfectly arranged and organized! Many thanks to the "Borgo Il Poggiaccio -Team" for the wonderful time! You have done a great job!

Very close from road, can be problem in some units; we had to change apartment because of this reason No AC, very big issue due to heat wave Furnishing and overall quality could be improved including shower fixtures, living room furniture etc

Breakfast was disappointing. We were asked for our food preferences but often half the items were never brought out and staff seemed annoyed when you asked for the missing items.

The location is somewhat marred by the very close country road, which is not busy, but still unpleasant. Speaking of noise...On two of our nights, a musician was on site for evening entertainment. Unfortunately this went on a bit too long and unfortunately he wasn't very talented either. As already mentioned, the food was very tasty, but a the dinner prices were a bit high (especially for the desserts). For us it was still worth it.

The view from the window was beautiful, the accommodation offered a lot of space. The buildings and everything around created an incomparable charm. The staff was always accommodating and very friendly. Offers such as tennis, cycling and pool (unfortunately only perceived the latter) also speak for this accommodation. The associated restaurant offered very good food, partly even homemade products (like the wine). Breakfast is highly recommended. Our highlight was the little kitten that kept us company every now and then.

Love the location, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Wine tasting experience at the venue was great. Great to have a restuarant on site, food is very good, lots of variety for breakfast. Overall the facilities at the venue are great.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment, and while it felt super clean, it had a strong musty odor- most probably owing to the age of the building?

Super elegant and laid back at once. The place is stunning and has a lot of character, the grounds are beautiful and easy to navigate, with gorgeous views and quiet hidden corners. The facilities are very accessible and really add a lot, the pool is awesome and has many loungers and chairs available, with the restaurant close by. The gratis tennis/basketball court, sports equipment, and bikes are an invaluable perk that really makes for fun memories. We had dinner at the restaurant which is magical and open reasonable hours, and the staff is super accommodating and thoughtful- they even left umbrellas by our doors during a thunderstorm:) We were friends traveling together and spent the whole day on premises, but the place is great for couples and families alike- easy to reach and so close to Sienna; wonderful experience and would definitely go back!

the kitchen… it really missed the mark, no dish soap, no dish towels (0!). no tea kettle, no coffee maker(😩). dishes, pots pans were mismatched and old. too bad - if the kitchen matched the beauty of the environment (did I mention the pool was beautiful and the grounds were beautiful!). so worth the stay, but would not take much to be over the top wonderful

It is next to the main road so it is a bit noisy because you hear the cars early in the morning.

Great location with beautiful sunset view over the heights and the swimming pool. Helpful staff in the reception who helped us to rent a car for a day. The lady in the restaurant gave us more glasses for wine for our house and helped us with information. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with own garden and it was just amazing. Free bikes to ride around. So valuable for the money! We would come back.

Worst beds I have slept on in Europe. The second bathroom is too small to move around in.

Beautiful old building in a very scenic location. they make their own wine, olive oil, and bread- which were all delicious! The lodging was adorable. The pool was beautiful and clean, even though it was too cold and rainy for us to swim it was nice to look at.
