The pool and hot tub could have been warmer

We loved our spacious, beautifully decorated room and all the areas of the hotel (the cozy dining room, the breakfast patio, the pool area, and the lovely views). The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, the dinner was delicious and good value. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great (loved the long shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries)

No sound isolation. We were in the room above restaurant and could hear even slightest noise. It’s quiet at night but was noisy up till 11-12 in the evening and from 7 in the morning. If you have trouble sleeping better ask in advance for a room in the other part of the building

There's not much to dislike here. Only suggestion would be if dining staff could keep the noise level down as our room was right next to the dining area/kitchen.

Excellent location to explore Tuscany. Hotel is a very charming and updated building with spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly and the daily breakfast was plentiful providing both hot and cold food. I would book here again!

The spa was not working allegedly because it was not the season. The day was sunny and warm (spring) after rainy days, so I got a little bit frustrated.

Everything was perfect, the room, facilities, the services and the front desk is very helpful. Excellent location in the middle of the Chianti area. Amazing breakfast and view!

The antica style of the hotel, cleanliness, surrounding breathtaking nature and vine yards. Breakfast was delicious with very good variety.

We were there in October so it was not hot. The weather was warm during the day and cool at night. It is a place to go to get away from the crowds of Florence or the narrow streets and darkness of Siena. It is super peaceful and relaxing—a perfect place to unwind and destress.

Overall this is a lovely place to stay. Only small points would be the restaurant menu wasn’t very ‘adventurous’ if you are looking for a fully local selection but this may be to ensure that the clientele is catered for. Also, the room was on a main road so a bit of road traffic noise.

Good location within Chianti for exploring the local sights. The restaurant is handy for evening meals meaning you don’t have to travel further afield for eating in the evening. Having the pool area is great for relaxing at the end of a hot day or if you have a day off from exploring. The location is elevated giving a great view across the Tuscan hills.

The location of Hotel Belvedere Di San Leonino was perfect for exploring the sounding towns and a great place to relax and enjoy the sights, smells and tastes of Tuscany. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. My family and I enjoyed 3 nights here and wish we stayed longer. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The pool is the perfect place to have a lazy day swimming, drinking and sun bathing! We only enjoyed one evening dinner here and it didn't disappoint, the team is excellent.

We spent 3 fabulous days at this hotel. Nestled in the Chianti hills but less than 30 is drive from Siena. The room was very comfortable and quiet with excellent air conditioning. The grounds were lovely with lots of different areas to sit in, both in and out of the shade. Pool beautiful. We are in the restaurant all 3 nights. Food, service and sunset all amazing. No more expensive than other restaurants around. All staff friendly professional and efficient. Would highly recommend

Everyting: beautiful property, superbly kept gardens, clean swimming pool, wonderful staff, good food, excellent wine. The view from our room was amazing, right over the rolling hills lined up with cypresses.

The room was on top of the breakfast area so we got a bit of noice in the mornings. The style of the rooms is a bit rustic but we already expected it. Not much to complain about.

Good location in the Chianti region to visit different vineyards and the historic cities in the area. Their restaurant should be tried we had two great dinners and it was nice to spend some time by the pool in the afternoons.

We had the budget room, be aware it's small for two tall ppl and 2 bags. Be creative. :)

We love the small things, staff (also gardeners, workers etc) always smiley, a waiter sometimes doing a drink service at the pool. Proper breakfast, salmon, cold cuts, dolces, etc. Having a restaurant on premises is convenient. Quite affordable tbh.

A gorgeous boutique hotel just north of Sienna, with wonderful staff, a relaxing pool scene, and fantastic breakfast & dinner. We loved every detail about this charming little spot. We spent 5 nights here and visited Florence, Sienna, Radda and Greve, among others. This hotel is in a great location to access all of Tuscany’s gems, while feeling quiet and removed, in its own pocket of paradise. Breakfasts were full of quality food and lots of choice. Even a glass of bubbly rose to wash it down. Dinners on the sunset terrace were very beautiful and full of tasty menu choices. So many wonderful memories made here, thank you!!
