Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere was absolutely nothing not to like. Everything was clean and well catered for. Thank you Villa Nunzia!
Giuseppe who was our main contact could not have done more to help us. He collected us from the Airport, drove us into Naples when we needed to and even collected us as well. He cooked us the best meal of our holiday at 11pm when we just arrived and were starving. His hospitality was the best! About the B & B, the rooms, facilities including the pool area was lovely. Great views as well overlooking Naples.

DenmarkFirst of all: The personal service from the owner Guiseppe and his staff makes this place a perfect frame for a holiday in Naples. Villa Nunzia is located in San Vito, just north of Ercolanum - very close to the Autostrade. With a rentet car you can easily reach Sorrento-coast, Amalfi-coast, Naples, Vesus, Salerno, Pompeii... Facilities are great - and the wiew from the terrasses are splendid. Vesus to the one side and the Naple Bay to the other. Sunset over the bay - sitting by the pool.... The owner is a great chef - and can make great pasta´s on request. And then - Guiseppe is a helpfull person. No question was left unanswered.

United KingdomThere is nothing we did not like! Only leaving made us sad, so we will return asap!!
We have just got back from Villa Nunzia after a 6 night stay and all we can say is WOW!! Such a beautiful place! We cannot wait to return :-) Villa Nunzia is situated at the foot of Vesuvius, in between the small towns Portici and Ercolano. Trains run every 10-20m from Piazza Garibaldi and it's a short 15 min ride to Portici or Ercolano. Very accessible, but will be a long walk up from either station, a small hire car is advised, but not essential. You can take a taxi from the station for the short ride but the wonderful host of Villa, Giuseppe, can collect you if you give 30m notice. It was never a problem for us and we were out exploring or visiting family most days. The Villa itself is like home from home. We stayed in the 'Gulf of Napoli' room, which didn't disappoint at all! Panoramic views of the gulf from the huge veranda, which also has its own outdoor Jacuzzi, a beautiful way to watch the stunning sunset with a prosecco :-) The room itself is huge, with a super sized bathroom (and another Jacuzzi inside!), a walk-in closet and a huge TV. There is a little wear and tear in the room, but it does not detract from the beauty or comfortability. It really feels like home. Very comfortable and clean. The pool area on the patio is awesome, super clean with amazing views and outside seating areas (and another huge jacuzzi!) Inside, there is also a communal area with big sofas, pool table and TVs. There is a gym and sauna too, but we didnt get a chance to use it. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, salami, cheese, bread, crackers, fruit, cakes, eggs, fruit juice. Speciality coffees can be prepared on request. Enzina makes the best cappuccino :-) What really stood out for us, was Giuseppe the host of the villa. Such a kind and lovely man, nothing was too much. We kept in contact via wattsapp and he even arranged airport transfers for a small fee each way. He really looked after us <3 Thank you Giuseppe and the lovely ladies!!

This is very good place to stay when you travel by car! Owner is very friendly and always ready to help. We like both side views from our room - Vesuvius and seaside! Rooms and bathrooms are quite large. Very good breakfast (cornflakes, milk, juices, croissants, yogurt, cheese and ham, rise, fruits). Safe parking near the house.

New ZealandVilla Nunzia was amazing. We made the most of the pool, lots of swims, eating breakfast and lunch by the poolside. Giuseppe was an amazing cook. He spoilt us with a very tasty salmon pasta dish for lunch, exquisite! We also had a private deck and spa, which we enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset. We'll be back, I might even think about using the gym

The host Giuseppe, his warmth and hospitality made our stay truly special. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable. His genuine care for his guests was evident in every interaction, and he was always available to provide recommendations or answer any questions I had. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of freshly baked pastries and local delicacies. The panoramic view of the city from the pool was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat. I highly recommend staying here for a memorable visit to the city.

United StatesThe building is large and relatively/and blandly unfurnished, floors were marble and tile,....so unfortunately speaking voices echoed loudly throughout. I think adding furniture, carpets and pictures on the walls would help greatly to absorbe the extra sound. Otherwise, the rooms, facilities and grounds were lovley.
Staff was very nice. comfortable clean and quiet room.
