How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The staff is amazing, very attentive and kind. The breakfast was abundant, the room cleaned and shiny every day. The women managing the hotel are always available and help you find the best solution to any problem you might have :)

Nothing, but it is about 70m set back from the road, not too visible if heading north, but good signage heading south. Plenty places to eat within a few minutes walking. Parking, and a lift to all floors
Nice room with balcony. Great breakfast. Lovely hosts

Pillows were thin and hard, not really my favorite style and would probably benefit from being replaced entirely. While common areas (such as the breakfast rooms and the dehors) are lovely, some of the room furniture is a bit dated, and not in a charming way :)
A perfect, cozy little hotel with a family feeling. The owner was super welcoming, kind and accommodated any of our requests promptly. Our room had plenty of space and was perfectly set up to be used with our 4-month old baby. Breakfast is absolutely stellar!

The room had its own independent access, it was spacious with balcony and very nice views. The Staff were exceptionally accommodating and hospitable. The Hotel has a family oriented feel while maintaining a professional service. Location is also not too far from slopes and near a few good restaurants. I would would definitely to go again with a family trip! thanks for everything, Silvio

Absolutely nothing! Maybe the pillows could be softer.
The property is very clean, cosy and charming showing original features of the building. Shower lovely and hot, rooms clean and tidy and cleaned every day.

It was ideal.
We Love this Hotel, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the location is perfect, central and a short walk to the ski lifts, but mostly, the kindness of the hosts is outstanding. They go above and beyond for their guests and treat you like a guest in their home. I would highly recommend this place.

None of the plugs in the room fit our standard European chargers, the water pressure was quite bad.
Absolutely wonderful staff and clean and nice looking little hotel.

Our only grip was the shower had low pressure.
The owners are extremely welcoming, we really loved this hotel. Great breakfast and great location. 5 mins walk to the butt tow and then you can ski to the main gondola or lift.

Nice place, super original, nice and clean room and bathroom. excellent breakfast. Ladies taking care of everything are super friendly and take good care of their customers. excellent protected and covered garage for motorbike.

Very friendly family-run hotel (more like a pensione). Nice breakfast. Family were helpful with any queries. Rooms quite basic but had a nice ski-chalet feel.

Pillows were hard and flat (didn’t ask for another though) and the water pressure in the shower was weak. Bathroom door didn’t open fully due to a bidet.
Excellent breakfast and warm helpful staff. Good size room that came with a balcony. Garage for the car as well as lift to the rooms a bonus.

The close proximity to the church bells! I learned to sleep through the 730am performance
The staff were incredibly warm and flexible. They treated us like family. There was plenty of food at breakfast and they remembered your preferences for the next day.

The location of the hotel is really good - very close to everything. The room was big and had everything it needed. For us, this hotel gets top marks for the awesome people who run it, who will answer all your questions, go above and beyond to make sure you have an awesome stay and make you feel very welcome. Nothing is too much to ask for, and they always have a smile on their face. I can't recommend them enough. Breakfast was also really good with lots of options available to suit everyone.

The bathroom was outdated, the shower did not work well. There was no fridge in the room and the wardrobe had only hangers and very few shelves. If your sleep is light, you might be woken up at 7 am by a nearby bell tower.
Breakfast was very good and the reception and common areas where nicely fitted and decorated. Freshly baked cakes every day and very friendly dog named Brian.

very old, very basic establishment very expensive, more than 200 Euro for a double room, they charged that much because it was a bike race and demand was very high and we had no choice than to pay that price
