The beds was not so comfy and in the last room was a hole that connect the bathroom with that specific room and it wasn t a good experience 😅.

The host was so helpful and he wanted all over the reservation to make us feel comfy and good. The location was near to metro, bus station and located in the nightlife area. It s a good apartment for those who want fun and have a drink or two. Was a clean apartment and we didn t have any problems with water or other facilities.

While the location was excellent it is near to bars and restaurants which continue on until 3 am at the weekend. This may be disturbing for some people. While the main bedroom and bed were very comfortable, other beds are in mezzanine areas. While these are accessible and sturdy they may not appeal to older people or may not be suitable for young children.

The location was excellent being right in the centre of Catania and a three minute walk from Via Etnea. The apartment was clean and well stocked with cleaning equipment, bathing supplies, towels, tea & coffee. Gianmarco, the host, was very helpful and responsive to queries.

Everything was perfect. The apartment looks even better in person than on the photos. The rooms are spacious, there are 2 bathrooms which is really convenient. Also, there were earplugs in the room that faces the noisier street, which is really kind.

Having the property surrounded by restaurants & Bars... Loud music is obviously expected & can be heard throughout the night up to 2am which may be very disturbing to some - having said that, ear plugs are also provided by the property.

Central location and everything is within walking distance from the property- shopping, restaurants & parking. Had no problem whatsoever with communicating with Gianmarco (landlord)..very responsive!

The apartment was great, comfortable,very clean! We traveled with our kids who found the apartment nice too. Gemellaro street is full of bars and places to eat, really close to via Etnea, the Duomo and other historical sites. Gianmarco and his father are very kind!

The property is stunning and uniquely Italian. It is centrally located and you can find many great restaurants and amenities nearby. Marco is a fabulous host who helped us a lot with our check in / stay. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting Catania.

Amazing location directly in the city centre, everything available in walking distance. Spacious flat for 6-8 person - the 4 of us had a luxurious stay… 2 bathrooms, dining room, living room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Everything was perfect, we liked to stay in this apartment. Gianmarco was very kind and helpful. He also helped us to organise the Etna tour with his friend Luca. Luca is a tour guide, we get a lot of information from Luca about Etna, we had the possibility to take part in a fantactic tour with him. We strongly recommend both the accomodation Gemmellaro Apartment and the Etna tour with Luca to everybody.

- WiFi didn't work at all, we had no connection - Via Gemmellaro is the Movida of Catania. You hardly manage to sleep during weekends. It is NOT for somebody who wants to rest and sleep, no quiet place.

- while it's a great location for tourism, it is a bar street with plenty of bars and students. They remained very noisy very late, and the cleaning took place early in the morning, meaning we don't really sleep without the earplugs provided by the host. - there was a distinct smell of fish (?) - there is no microwave, which in itself is fine, but to use the oven we had to contact the host to find out as to how to activate and use it - a user's manual for the oven, washer and other appliances would have been good - the owner was not very flexible and could not keep our bags for some hours because of new guests arriving, etc.

- great location close to everything (apart from the noise - see below) - very practical to have 2 bathrooms - everything worked correctly
