We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MoldovaNo parking space. Even not on the streets around. Only an expensive parking in the neighborhood. No wifi signal in the room (2nd floor) - only near receotion.
Nice location with view from the room right at the harbour. Simple and quite outdated hotel, but very clean. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Good price. Good breakfast. Nice personnel. We recommend Hotel Alfiero.

SwedenNo information at all in any foreign language. Why not invest and make an information folder in English? During the weekend it was bit noisy at nights mostly from other guests. Poor Wi-Fi - tried to do some remote work but it was almost impossible.
Friendly staff, despite the language barrier. They help with the parking and explained the system, which is a bit confusing for a foreigner. Clean rooms and an avarage breakfast buffet. The coffee they serve each morning is delicious.

AustraliaThe only thing was that after 8 pm the hotel was not staffed so a code was required to get into the hotel. I was not aware, so I had to call the urgency line to get the code to get into the hotel after hours.
The breakfast at Hotel Alfiero was simple but great. The check-in process was quick and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also had a bigger than expected room, with a nice view of the port, so that exceeded my expectations.

United KingdomSomewhat basic in all (including toiletries). Not much room for breakfast if everyone goes at the same time (we had to sit outside). Would only consider for a short stay.
The hotel is close to the ferry quay, which is why we chose it. The staff were friendly and helpful. It does have a lift/elevator.
