Daniel was so warm and welcoming and helpful, and put a great deal of thought into every aspect of the apartment which was light, spacious clean and well equipped. It is right by St Peters in a charming district , would definitely recommend and we hope to return .

The stairs into the apartment are worn and scary otherwise... no issues

Location, location, location! What more can I say? The proximity to the Vatican and the opportunity it gave for two 70 year old women to walk to Mass every day. The kitchenette, too, was just the perfect addition. The upgraded bathroom... tiny but cosy apartment. Very cosy! And the host? The most amazing person I have ever 'met'! He went out of his way to surprise my mum on her birthday with a lovely chocolate gateaux and white roses 💛💛💛

Nothing everything was perfect

Lovely accommodation stayed for 6 nights in the deluxe apartment. Daneille was a perfect host and could not be more helpful. His recommendations and map, which he highlighted, were perfect. The area near the Vatican is perfect. Highly recommended. Definitely be recommending to family and friends.

The steps to the apartment can be a challenge to some people. The apartment is located on what we Americans would call the 2nd floor so if you have any hip or knee issues, you might have a problem with the stairs.

Everything! The apartment was located in a great area to easily get to the main sites in Rome and just a few minutes from the Vatican. Restaurants and grocery stores were right around the corner. It was spotlessly clean and had plenty of room for two people. The owner, Daniele, was the best. He was available, gave us lots of information and not only did he meet us at 3am when we left, he arranged our taxi pick up. On our next trip to Rome we will definitely be staying here again

First and foremost our host Daniele was amazing. He met us at the property and showed us all of the amenities. He then gave and went through a map with all the major attractions to go see and showed us where was good to eat. We followed all of his recommendations none of which disappointed and we can’t thank him enough for that. The apartment was absolutely spotless clean and a good size for 2 people and the location was great, we walked to every attraction from the apartment. Upon return to Rome we would definitely come back and stay here, highly recommend.

Unfortunately the apartment above us was being renovated so it was quite noisy during the day. Having said that it did not spoil our holiday and we would definitely stay here again.

It couldn't of been better, quiet, charming everything very convenient

When we first arrived we went to the location which is nothing more than a large front door which was locked. We called the number and Daniele was here within a few minutes. When we went inside it was concerning due to the stairs but Daniele insisted on taking it all up stairs. When we entered the room it was perfect! All modern clean, beautifully decorated and full stocked with all our needs, Daniele has though of everything we needed for our stay. Situated on a quiet street with a restaurant just outside our door. Within 2 blocks you have a dozen restaurants, gelato and bakery's. Your 15 minutes away walking distance from most of the sites but beware. Pick pocketers are everywhere and the will get you just like me if your not careful. Strongly suggest money belt

Nothing, for us it was the perfect weekend get away.

Beautiful apartment with all the comforts. Excellent windows that block out the noise. We slept very well and will recommend this apt for those that look to be close to the Vatican. The owner is very diligent, responds to questions quickly and receives you with plenty of information about the city and nearby restaurants. Will recommend to friends and will gladly stay there again.

Only the fact that our stay was short ☹️ wanted more.

The property was amazing. It was very clean with all the facilities which are needed and even more. The location was amazing. I have never had as amazing host as daniele. He was in touch when you needed, gave you all the important information and he was not just host, he became a good friend. So i totally recommend staying at danieles apartment.

The only problem for older travellers like us was the four flights of stairs but Daniel looked after the luggage up and down and, hey, this was the only downside.

The location was perfect for the Vatican/St Peter's area and the adjacent main street, Borgo Pio, offered the widest range of cafes and restaurants. Daniele was very welcoming and helpful, carrying all our suitcases up to the 3rd floor apartment which was light and airy and fully equipped. The special extra is the balcony and seats with a view over courtyard trees to the dome of St Peter's. We stayed at five apartments during our two-month European trip and this would be equal number one!

Absolutely outstanding, from correspondence before arrival, being met and shown round, to recommendations of places to visit, and, especially, to eat. Thanks Daniele. Fantastic location, surrounded by pedestrianised streets full of restaurants and local residents. If we should go to Rome again, when we go will be determined by the availability of La Porta Rossa.

We spent 3 nights in this apartmant. Our flight was late, so Daniele was waiting for us at the street to give us the keys, and also to share some info with us, he even gave us a map. The apartman was very clean, and comfortable (we had 2 AC!) with an incredible view. The location is also amazing. The host, Daniele is super, very helpful, 10/10. I can not wait to come back!
