Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandParking is somehow always possible, apparently, especially when you come after closing time of the souk. It might be different on other weekdays. No complaints whatsoever
The location of the Daher Guest House is great - in the middle of the Old City. The room is fairly big and simple. Check-in was easy, the host very accommodating and uncomplicated. It was really great value for the money, and we were not looking for comfort either, so there really is nothing to complain about. What we appreciated was the breakfast in the morning that was apparently very typical for Nazareth - not gonna say more. Also, it was ready at the time we asked for. All in all a great experience and we would try out another of their guest houses in the Old City next time.

United StatesA little touch can take you a long way! It's time to renovate the place. The shower is not the cleanest.TAKE OFF the dirty shower courteins! The kitchen needs to go through a series cleaning. Paint the rooms, all kinds of marks everywhere.
The location was amazing. The people are polite helpful and kind.

South AfricaLots of stairs but once you get to the top, the view of the city is well worth the climb.
The breakfast was lovely - with fresh bread made by Noor. The location is great - very close to the Church of the Annunciation and surrounded by interesting places to explore. The host Salaam is very helpful with advice on where to go and how to get there. He is also very accommodating of special requests. The rooftop is a beautiful space to hangout with a spectacular view. I really enjoyed my stay at Daher.

HungaryWe would only make some recommendations to build a tiny one layer of bricks between the toilet and the shower so when one has a shower the water does not spread to the whole bathroom including the toilet. We would also suggest him to change the shower curtain as a hygenic refreshment. Tiny changes toilet rug or an anti-slippery rug in the shower could make the place perfect.
First of all, the owner and his employee were both lovely and welcoming. Both the room, the hall and the terrace on top of the building had a nice, arabic atmosphere, which we absolutely loved. The view from the terrace was great. The bed was very comfortable and I really appreciated the extra douvet in the room as it was really cold at night so we needed to use it. We were really sorry that we had to leave the accomodation early because even their coffee was nice so for sure their breakfast was even better. The location of the hotel was wonderful, close to the market and all the sights of interest. We would love to stay here again and I would recommend it to others, too.

The best experience of Nazareth was the helpfulness of the owner, he is such a terrific guy! Always available to give information and to satisfy my requests. He deserves a particular mention. The property is right in the old city, close to all attractions and amenities. A very nice breakfast is served on the terrace.

United StatesThe parking is street parking and would be a challenge with a larger vehicle, and the online payment seemed to conflict with the local payment request at the guesthouse which is in the process of being sorted out.

AustriaThe rooms could be somewhat better equipped (fridge and lampshades), but don't let this keep you from booking a stay - the location and the people will more than make up for that.
Located in the old town of Nazaret, equipped with a very beautiful and lovely roof terrace, a stunning view up the hill the city is built on and to the church of announciation, the location couldn't be better. Breakfast was a highlight and not only it was delicious, but it was so ample I didn't need anything else during my workdays. Just downstairs at the entrance to the old city, there's a small shop which is run by the owner and provides all you need and more. Make sure to try the Manakish with cheese, that's someting you just can't resist. Take it from the shop up to the roof terrace and enjoy the view across the city and its cathedrals and mosques - and just enjoy. The owner Salam and his friend Bashar (sorry if I misspelled your names, I don't know how to spell them) are such heartwarming friendly and caring people, they make you feel home in a matter of minutes, are there for any questions or needs and made sure I had all I wanted and needed. Thank you!
