for backpackers it’s great, not expensive, comfy and they did clean the room everyday. I would say tho that if you pay the full price for this (we got like a 40% discount) you’d be disappointed. it wasn’t clean when we arrived…like not at all, but they ended up cleaning it. there were stains on the bedsheets but they were clearly cleaned out of the machine (just stains). there are better bigger rooms that looked AWSOME but we took a smaller one (Cheeper). the food was great, lots of option, the staff was super nice and they were really helpful with finding scooters to rent and stuff. the pool was really big and great to swim in. the sunrise was beautiful to watch from the balcony.

Some lizards might sneak into your room as the doors aren’t sealed properly, we didn’t really mind them though. Unless you have a scooter the distance from the town centre is a pretty long walk but you can hire a scooter from the hotel.

Really comfortable bed and very spacious room, breakfast was really nice on the A La Carte days the tv in the room was great. The staff were really helpful and friendly, room service was good and the meals were value for money.

Room doesn't provide hair dryers. Vegan or Vegetrian (no egg/fish ) food options must be more but I guess its more a problem in majority of Bali hotels

Room were pretty decent size to fit a family of 2 with 6 year kid. Our room was on 1st floor, pool facing with a balcony having a tea table & chair to enjoy drinks with view. We used scooter to travel around to Tegalang rice terrace & Alas Harum, Ubud palace around 15 mins. Location has other good hotels in walking distance like Sankara, Anand Ashram for Yoda/ meditation. We haven't tried breakfast. Staff were pretty helpful. Enjoyed the pool.

The breakfast was not good at all. Insects all over the food, and way to little choices. Also, the bathrooms was molded (we tried changing rooms, three times), but all of them was molded. The bedsheets was stained and there was hair all over the furniture..

The team of people working there was just great! Everybody is so kind and helpful.

Bed sheets, pillow should be cleaner. Some were with bad smell.

A beautiful place with great swimming pool view. All of the staffs are friendly too. Breakfast is also a plus compares to the price. I really love the cool weather with sunny scenary. Will recommend to friends & family.

Ugly & old Towel. The bath room do not provide. towel mat. We got the the pool towel instead of the white bath towel, until we request the additional bath towel. we use the pool towel as the towel mat.

breakfast was limited and we had booked for 2 adults and 3 kids. Wondering they didn’t had information of third in the cafe and didn’t want to give breakfast for 5th person.

The location itself is slightly difficult to manage. Firstly, it's in an alley way which is very hard to find for even the local drivers and, secondly, it's a 35 min walk to Ubud centre (2.5ish kilometers or just under 2 miles) on roads that don't have side walks - hell, there's not even space for two cars to pass each other on those roads and yet they do it anyway. The upside to this is there's a number of really good food spots within a 3 min walk that are safe (Warung Darwa, Talun ect) that compensate for the distance so you don't feel it as much. The facilities are a bit lack luster. The hotel compensates by making use of off site facilities (laundry, spas, drivers) which also, sadly, extends to the lack of variety on the menu. While the food is great - I have zero complaints about the quality or taste - but I do about the lack of variety on the menu. I couldn't care about the number of western sandwich options - I want more Indonesian food!!! I can make a sandwich at home, I want more local dishes!!! There's like 5 different sandwiches on the menu but only three Indonesian foods. You can have your eggs every way imaginable in the morning but the Indonesian breakfast is stuck with Nasi Goreng Special (fried rice with shredded chicken and egg) that quickly becomes repetitive. Luckily, the local food stops compensate for this and I found myself rarely eating at the hotel.

The staff are incredibly friendly. Genuinely good people who helped us every step of the way. The pool area is lovely and has a real "jungle oasis vibe".

the room had stains from previous people asked for it too be cleaned only just made the bed, the bed stank and had stains and the bathroom needed a good clean and had dirt marks all over it. the balcony door had a massive gap in it because it was broke so we had loads of flies and mosquitoes. the tiles on the floor were broke and I’m surprised I didn’t fall through it

it was quite wet in the room, there were couple of black spots on the ceiling and corresponding smell.. I didn’t noticed it when arrived and couldn’t manage it with staff when I got back late
