An elevator would have been nice

There is no elevator in the building, which is apparently quite common in Budapest. But it is a little hassle if you have big luggage. They don’t clean the room, or change the towels or bed sheets. As we stayed 4 nights I would have preferred new towels at least. Hairdryer is not working, and there is no shampoo in the shower.

Room is nice, big enough for a couple. Location is good, walking distance to almost everywhere and there is a nearby metro station. Host was nice, we did self check in and it was smooth.

We didn't looked for high standards, so everything was acceptable and true with the description.

Strongly recommend (we needed one night stop on the longer road by car). Heart of the city, so everything was pretty close. First of all, the host was very friendly and really helpful, helped with all the questions about city and shops and useful information; room was clean (air condition, helped on hot day), toilet clean, small kitchen place but for a quick stay it's enough, bed was good, nice cornered bath but in opened bathroom (we didn't care, some might). 24h access to the rooms. We were on the weekend, so the parking on the street was free and there were a lot of free places - don't know how it looks in the working days. Beautiful Budapest, we will be going there back for sure!

The bathroom vent gave off a bad smell and there were no windows in the room.

The sink was not working, the room was duble and not twin, the fridge was to small ( hotel minibar), no dining table, no help with the laguages upstairs/downstairs.

Location is perfect, in the city centre and quite. The bed is comfortable, as well as the pillow and the bed sheets. Iron and laundry machine available.

The only down fall was there was a lot of stairs to climb before we got to our room

The room we stayed in had only one window and its view was for the hallway, where people walked by.

No elevator however it’s not hard going up the stairs

Staff very friendly, a 33 hour travel time to get to Budapest turned into a 59 hour travel time and the staff were amazing about our stay. We missed a night due to delays and they where very helpful with insurance claim.

Please take into consideration that there is only light cleaning included so it might be not that level of cleaning that you want. When I arrived there was dust on surfaces like no one cleaned it before. As it was late night I clean just by myself. You have choice to order for additional charge but I don’t know if it worth it. Also be aware to carry your luggage 2 floors. I read comments before so that for me it wasn’t a problem. I took that much that can handle for stairs 😉

Perfect location (access to all sightseeing and metro/tram station) and authentic building itself. And even this property doesn’t have 24/7 reception they are able to organise your check-in at late time. Really appreciate it as another property just refused for late check-in.

The toilet could use a hand towel as well as a bathroom. The mini fridge was not working, but we could use the shared one in the corridor.

The location is perfect, next to the embassies, so it's peaceful at night. Maybe we were just lucky or it was the season, but we could find public parking space without much hassle. The room was clean and the towels were nicely fragrant. AC is working and helps to cool the room from the daily heat and dry out from moisture after bathing.

We liked the stay. 5 minutes and you are at the Opera. Also close to metro.The train station was 10 minutes walk. The room is spacious, air- conditioned and large bath. It was absolutely quiet and calm here. The staff is very friendly. Thank you!

Great location - right in the city's heartbeat (very quiet though) just a jump away from Octogon metro station. Room I've stayed in was clean, tidy, equipped with everything needed. Host was very nice, helpfull and responsive. I had great stay there.
