The entrance is scary, the church close to the hotel is too loud sometimes.

Location, location, location( exposure to nature, the height gives us a nice view if the city, the staff is super nice, breakfast is great, and the dance class was a blast)

Listen they are not joking about that steep road that leads to the hotel. A lot of the stuff on the menu weren’t available. Roaches in the room. Window in the room didn’t close right so house lizards got in. Wardrobe drawer broken. Ac is only on from 8pm to 5am. Owner came & greeted everyone at breakfast one day except for our table & this white guy sitting at the bar…

We weren't told that the pool was out of order prior to arrival or when we checked in. The room was very tiny and basic. The restaurant had barely any food available which was offered on the menu.

It was not clear on the description of the properly that access to the property is very limited. Our taxi refused to go up the steep hill and instead had us ride single motorcycles with drivers. There is no door to the bathroom; in other words using the toilet meant that you are exposed to the bedroom area. The location is under construction and there is constant noise up until may 10PM. Then, past that time, there are guests playing music around the pool area all hours of the night. There was also the issue of AC. I know that in Haiti the electricity is not 24/7, but charging extra for a room with AC defeats the purpose if the AC is only one maybe 2 hours in a 24 hour period. Last but not least, the waiting period for the food to be ready was absurd. I had to learn that if I order food at a certain hour, I have to make sure to ask if all the ingredients for the food is already here or will they need time to get them from the market.

The only part of my stay I enjoyed is that the room was cleaned daily. The food was decent, when they had what was on the menu.

the road to the hotel was too steep i understand the circumstances and it’s because they are on a hill.

it was amazing. the view was amazing we could see the entire city. The staff were very informative and friendly. We were supposed to stay for a week stay then go to satama but because of the awesome services we received we spent two weeks at Habitation Des Lauriers. We will definitely go back.

I hate the fact there’s NO server to bring you the food to your room, every times your order something you have to come back to pick it up yourself. and the food takes forever to be ready. the cashier at the Bar be very rude and disrespectful. and they have 2 or 3 dogs on the property which is not safe because not everybody are dogs friendly.

the rooms are super clear, and the housekeeper always get the room done on time, she’s very nice respectful and friendly.

First; I have never been to Cap Haitien, my fiancé planned this trip, we spent a week there and let me tell you; I 100% recommend this place. Everything was great. the day I flew in, Bianca messaged me and sent a shuttle to pick us up at the airport that was very convenient. she greeted us with a warm smile. I am a supervisor at Doubletree By Hilton, and her customer service skill is WONDERFUL. Everyone was fantastic. the breakfast was excellent; my fiancé had drinks that they even put them in the freezer for us with no complaints, I am a very picky person anyway that’s besides the point Jenna and Samirah were great they were very nice ( telling me each morning what they had for breakfast until I decided what I really wanted to eat). We felt safe and felt like we were home. the only thing that we didn’t get to enjoy was the pool, just because we went out every day. We will definitely be back. thanks for everything!!!
