Incredible Hostel! Interesting decor, good facilities & even has has a rooftop terrace The owner is super lovely & a walking encyclopedia of local knowledge I became quite unwell during my stay. The owner was very helpful seeing if there was anything that would make things more comfortable. She checked in frequently, offered medicine & was generally uplifting to be around As I was recovering she really motivated me to get out of bed & keep seeing the city; She recommended lots of great activities, even being kind enough to take myself & other guests to some of her favourite restaurants A very welcome & unexpected surprise for a solo traveller who was suddenly without the energy to plan a whole lot I would have stayed longer they weren't booked out. When I mentioned this to the owner she offered me a private room for a great price. It was the perfect end to my trip after several weeks of dorms My experience at Wontonmeen not only made it my first choice for accomodation in HK, but also a big reason I'd like to return in the future Thank you P!!

The place has good vibes and I get to experience the livelihood of the Hong Kong city. Special mention to head to the rooftop , because the night view and they have put in effort to decorate the rooftop chill out place. Its like an Easter egg to be discovered. i accidentally left my specs there and the hostel went above and beyond to deliver uit back

Great owners, great ppl, great place! It's a bit of an older place and you can see it's age, however everything has been done to make it comfy and cozy and to wrap it up - it's an amazing value for your money. I will be definitely staying there again, once I'm back to HKG!

The homestay is an inexpected gem in this area, very good value and the private room was super clean and comfy. We got upgraded by the kind owner so it was very nice of her. The decor is quirky which gives a special vibe to the homestay. We enjoy our stay there and would recommend for anyone looking for a short stay in a clean and well equipped place

It was a bit of a walk to places I wanted to see, but the location felt safe, and it was surprisingly quiet.

The host was very helpful and responsive. People staying there were friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and strong.

I recently stayed at this hostel and had a fantastic experience! The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. The hostel had a great vibe, with friendly staff and fellow travelers. The atmosphere was welcoming and made it easy to meet new people. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a fun and comfortable stay!

Nice little hostel; very clean, with 2 areas to hang out and meet people. The rooftop is super cosy and very cool to hang out (with view over many other buildings, giving a bit of a cyberpunk feeling). The lady communicates a lot, also during the stay, giving a lot of tips for things toe at or things to do. She's very helpful in case of any questions, and most importantly, very friendly. She's really the one making it a 10.

Unfortunately there is no kitchen. But a fridge and a bit tableware you can use and I’m sure if you miss something you can ask and have it.

The owner is so lovely and kind and very helpful. The location is amazing. There is a rooftop which is really beautiful.

1 bathroom for 6 girls was a tight fit, sometimes the light came in the room and sadly no kitchen but there is a fridge microwave and cutlery so the basics at least

Patricia is the best host recommended food places took a few of us to Dim sum and a local breakfast coffee. Has a WhatsApp group so things are organised easily. The staff are lovely including Kelvin the hostel vibe is nice. With snacks and a cool roof top. Curtains and gold sockets in the bed good value for money

Nothing to complain about.

The staff was so helpful and made some afford that guest could get together. A very social hostel. Very good for solo travelers. And the private room with the music tapes is amazing. You feel like in an Wong Kar Wai Movie from the 90s. They have a tape player in the room as well. Additionally the roof top is nice. I will definitely come back next time I'm in HK.

Nothing much. Just note that you can't use the hairdryer after 11pm.

It's a homey place near prince edward station. The design's great! I liked reading the details placed all over the accommodation. The rooftop had ambient lighting which i found very cute. The microwave was easy to use as an english speaker. The sheets were clean and they even had make up removers for the girl's room. I stayed for 2 nights and patricia was always responsive! There is a youtube tutorial on how to get to the place once you book a spot there. Even though it's posted awhile ago, it is still relevant. Thank you for the great stay!

The location is far from MTR Station. Walking 10 mins.

The living area is spacious with games. Perfect for budget travellers. You have some biscuits drinks given by owner. The washroom n bathroom is clean. And nice roof top area to chill.

The bunks were not really what I expected, it was difficult to climb up to your bunk and you needed to use a stool but sometimes in the middle of the night people would take the stool from your bed or put their personal items on the stool which made getting out of bed very inconvenient.

The common area and rooftop patio are very cute, the staff was really friendly, and they have free snacks available for guests which was a nice touch.

The room is small, but we already knew that beforehand as it was advertised as such, and it's to be expected in this city. Still had a lovely stay!

They welcomed us warmly. We liked that we had a private room and a bathroom, and outside along the hallway, there's a floor-to-ceiling mirror to check your look before going out. The location is a bit of a walk from the nearest train station, but it was okay. There were a lot of convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. There are also food spots nearby, including a McDonald's just across the road.
