What a great find! Comfy and spacious, and location is close to many local eateries and shops. Its tucked in a quiet street off the busy Nathan Road, sleep well. Staff are courteous and helpful, and laundry shop just opposite the hotel with same day service starting at US$8. Good base for anyone interested in exploring a more local neighborhood.

Sun & So were most welcoming & helpful on the reception desk. Made us feel very welcome. Simple but hearty breakfast provided each morning with free water top up available throughout the day & beverage facilities. A good size & spotless room for central Kowloon. Both bus & MTR pretty much on the doorstep & plenty of local eateries.

Only the main street Nathan Road is pretty air polluted but there are lots of different retail shops and restaurants. There is still a distance between the airport bus stop if one has a big luggage to pull on Nathan Road then pushed up to a steep road to the Lodge, but fortunately, it is still within a walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay in The Salvation Army Booth Lodge last April. Alex and Carmen are very nice and helpful stuff at the front desk. They are friendly and efficient, which made me feel like at home. Cleaning staff are also polite. Among others, I like it provided breakfasts for me and also a terrace and a room for eating. The safety box is useful. Hair dryer, sink basin, and shower facility are all in good condition and brand. Love the people are quiet and did not affect my sleep.

The air conditioner was either too warm or too cold. No middle adjustment.

We didn’t have breakfast in since so many restaurants were close by. We loved the location, very convenient . The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The blinds were Venetian blinds which were difficult to use. I prefer roller blinds. The aircon is too cold. The wardrobe is a little small and doesn't fit my luggage. I saw other rooms had a luggage frame but my room didn't. The fridge isn't cold enough. No clothes washing facilities. I couldn't change the channel on the TV, only one channel. Very basic breakfast but not bad. They should provide paper plates and fruit.

Very clean and well maintained. I loved a communal rubbish bin on each floor, so convenient. The balcony and the function room is useful. Staff helpful and responsive. Great location, well serviced by public transport. Not as noisy as I expected from reading other reviews.

- AC even on minimum was blasting arctic winds and was loud even on off - some windows were not sealed and there was heavy moisture inside

- fairly central location near bus stops and tube stations - big comfortable bed - nice staff - laundry right next to the hotel

The toilet roll holder seems a bit difficult to dispense.

This room is a lot bigger than the one I used to stay. Plenty of room in the bathroom. There is a bench table which is better than a desk, more areas to keep our necessities so that we don't need to keep them in the suitcase

The water heater is a little inconsistent in heat, especially when someone else is using the basin when you shower. But it's easy to overcome. Just make sure only one person uses the bath/toilet at a time. 😀😀

The location is great, the room size is fantastic. With the high ceiling, the room feel even more spacious. They have umbrella in the room to cater for bad weather. Room is also very clean. Staff are very friendly and able to provide assistance whenever required. Our booking came with free airport transfer, which is a private vehicle sending both of us to airport in the comfort. We will book the stay again if we visit HK again.

The terrace being closed after 6 pm but an understandable measure - otherwise it would get too noisy in the evenings!

Very clean and cozy rooms, very helpful and polite staff and administrator, exceptionally convenient location close to the center, attractions and iconic cafes! Even though you can't do the laundry at the hotel, there's a laundromat next door.

Hot water took two to three minutes to come through the shower faucet one night around 1130 pm, and it was inconsistent.Then it went well for the other nights after we reported to staff. The walls between rooms are thin. Fortunately our neighbor is our family and they don't make much noise.

Room is spacious and clean. There is no heat a/c, but when you feel cold sleeping, you can ask staff for extra blankets. However, Hong Kong doesn't get very cold often. Most tenants we met are polite and quiet people.

Did not eat the breakfast, but there was no problem otherwise. Everything is very neat and clean. Big shower is amazing and very much needed in Hong Kong, where you sweat a lot and have to shower more than once a day. Aircon works amazing, even if you keep it on low. The TV even had 2 English channels. It is also close to an MRT station and you can get anywhere from there, in aircon. It took me a couple of days to realize this, and there was a lot of unnecessary walking involved.

The serve of breakfast was a little late but 7-eleven is just near by and alot of restaurant

the location was very convenient, the station was just 5 minutes walking distance, and 10-15 mins walking distance from mongkok night market. And the place was safe and good. I definitely recommend the place and would stay there again.
