Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South KoreaSlowest oldest elevator on Guam and so many office staff for a small hotel and oddly many locals and workers living there and in an out. Pool was a bit dirty with old pool furniture and didn't seem clean at times or heated until I made a review before but it seems to have been removed. The breakfast buffet really ends at 0845 or they start shutting down an cleaning up before 0900. Even though the schedule says 0630 to 0900. We seem to have only leftovers or get scolded for not coming down at 0830. Food selection was ok but I was expecting more from an American chain. Most buffets go til 10am because people are on vacation and want to sleep in an not feel rushed.
Front desk only area morning soup was usually nice and hot an bedding was nice when it was changed.

United StatesManagement was aware of our arrival time, several phone calls to confirm. We waited outside for 1 hour at 0330 AM because no staff/security at front desk to let us in. Finally the night staff drove up and said he was gone only 10 minutes! Even though we were told no airport shuttle, he said he had to do an "airport shuttle run", Room not as represented on website. Plastic sheeting covered the window and it was shredded in places and grimy. Sheets were torn and the other room's bed appeared as it someone had been sleeping on it and their room was changed. Bathroom was dirty and moldy. Best Western may be on the name of this hotel, they have no affiliation with this hotel as the manager told me later.
The manager did compensate my group for one night.

Japanlocation. basically it’s on highway and made for ppl with cars. I like walking but the road wasn’t made for pedestrians. it was horrible to walk. got ripped off by a cab driver from airport so I wasted lots of money on the cab ride. if you like walking around, don’t stay here. the hotel rate is lower but you need to add 50 bucks min for the cab ride to/from the airport. then it’s much better to stay near the beach. I regret booking this place. overall, it wasn’t enjoyable. and the dogs barking outside, little kid in the next room made lots of noise at 3:50am. I was soooo upset. also they gave me a room in the back, close to where dogs are. wasn’t a good experience.
quick check in, nice staff (female), complimentary coffee, comfy bed, there weren’t cockroaches, big bathroom, decent size room

United StatesThe photos for the location that are seen online are inaccurate portrayals of the Hotel from years past. The Location is in between a dilapidated building and a bunch of gas stations. Some windows don't open, some are grayed out so you cannot see outside. Showers were clean, however they had pretty unreliable hot water and poor water pressure. The Hotel was generally clean, but there were quite a few roaches and termites and the like. One of the toilets overflowed. Location geographically is also poor, nothing is within walking distance except for a few gas stations and a McDonalds. In all reality, with how expensive the taxis are, you would save money buying a nicer hotel nearer the city. The wifi speeds are abysmal, only 100-500 kb/s.
They had lights, a bed, water (wouldn't drink it). If you go here I recommend the Yooshin Building's Classic Restaurant.

GuamMy fridge never worked when I checked in and even before checking out it was never cold. I checked to see if the switch was on, if it was plugged in correctly, and the thermostat of the fridge. Overall it was never on. I think it was broken but I was able to store my coffee creamer and food I had bought night of check in in a friends room who also stayed at the hotel. I called guest service when I first noticed the problem. They said they’ll send someone up. Asked the second time, they said they’ll send someone in the morning. Morning came and no one came. Still have a broken fridge. I was out of my room for the morning for the conference that was there but conference ended at 12:30pm. I went to my room to clear for checkout and it was still not cold at all whatsoever and I made a complaint with the front desk. I asked for a partial refund because I expected for the fridge to work or at least be fixed before I checked out. They said that would let me know about if they would refund me or follow up. With me.
It was fair pricing for budget. I love how the tv in the room was capable to plug in my Apple TV so I was able to listen to worship music at night before bed using the tv instead of my phone.
