The woman who worked the front office was rude and made us feel like we were burdening her (which was the opposite of the man who worked the front other times, very nice, helpful, and friendly.) The room was dimly lit including the shower and it was hard to see. The bed was hard too.

The property was beautiful! We enjoyed the roof terrace very much! Most of the staff was very friendly. The location was great, lots of things in walking distance, but a quiet area.

We loved everything about our stay and the hotel.

My fiancé and I travelled to Guatemala and Antigua was our last stop, and I am so glad it was because Posada del Angel was such an amazing experience to end our trip on. The staff was beyond exceptional and accommodating, the breakfast was amazing, as well as the rooftop and the view from the rooftop, and the hotel itself was beautiful. It was such a tranquil place and a wonderful place to relax after a long day of walking. I can't say enough good things about our stay.

I didn’t like the loud and rude tour group of Americans who stayed one night and behaved as if they owned the place.

Small boutique hotel, thoughtfully designed but not overdone. A little bit of fading charm. Immaculate, excellent service. Quiet location. Beautiful roof terrace for delicious breakfast and relaxing.

Posada del Angel is a gem! Every inch of this hotel is charming and decorated with such thought and care. The location is perfect - a little bit removed from the Central Square, but still close enough to easily walk there. Antigua in general is so walkable. My husband and I loved it there!

Gorgeous room that was super clean and comfortable! Bathtub of my dreams. Delicious breakfast served in the dining room by delightful staff. Short walk to dining, shopping, and sightseeing. The perfect finish to my Guatemalan vacation with my sister! Would definitely return and stay longer.

Slightly further out than some of the other hotels, but the facilities made up for it.

Staff was exceptional and the room was gorgeous. Stayed in the Presidential Suite and the bathtub was what dreams are made of. The Presidential Suite also has a private patio, which was really lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was super comfortable. Felt luxurious. About a 10-15 minute walk from the Arch. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is small in size, only 7 or 8 rooms, with beautiful design and amazingly friendly staff. Every space is curated and feels secluded and personal. Our room was the one closest to reception (Blue Room) and was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. The rooftop is gorgeous and we enjoyed our delicious breakfasts and cocktails there. Although the pool was tempting, we did not use it. The hotel is within walking distance to everything (Hector's Deli, Cafe Boheme, churches, ruins, museum at Hotel Casa Santo Domingo, Cafe No Se).

Price is a bit steep for Guatemala but it really is a beautiful place and quiet.

Beautiful place to stay at. Breakfast was great with the beautiful view of the volcano in a beautiful setting. The staff were wonderful including the owner(?)/manager(?) who seemed to be very caring. Communication with them before/during the stay was easy with emails. They were very accommodating with my unexpected very late arrival.
