I got a single room, which was great, the bed was comfortable, shower water is hot and the balcony has nice view. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I could leave my bags for a while after check out.

The one thing that would make it better is a coffee maker in the kitchen.

Best bang for your buck! Very convenient location, close to the centro historico and lots of good cafés and restaurants. The person in charge was very helpful and waited for us when we arrived late at night for the check-in. The room was comfortable enough, nothing fancy, and the shared bathrooms were always clean. Water in the shower was warm. The rooftop terrace with a view of the cathedral was a nice plus, as well as access to the fridge and kitchen.

Could be quieter. Neighborhood dogs/ traffic can be heard through the window as it’s not airtight. Ear plugs are an easy fix.

Great location, English speaking host, a variety of tours/ shuttles can be booked at the property. Terrace is nice! The host handled a last minute cancellation of my final night for only 15Q charge.

Lovely guesthouse, calm, tranquil, and clean. The host is very friendly and went out of his way to help me recover my kindle when I left it behind. Highly recommend!

Roberto the owner is really kind and attentive. He helped me get to San Se in Huehue with ease. This is not a hostel with shared rooms so it wss less crowded. I was able to relax and enjoy space. Bathrooms were clean (hot/cold water), there's a shared kitchen on the rooftop, free drinking water. I loved how central it was - close to the park, good restaurants, supermarket and walking distance to the bus terminal to Cuatro Camino (it's the area where all the busses pass through, so I didn't need to go to Minerva). I came back here on my way to Antigua. His family is so welcoming. I even had breakfast with them one of the days. I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was small considering the large bed in it. There are no private kitchens/refrigerators, just the one on the roof (3rd floor). The only window in the room was to the hallway. If you have noisy guests staying, you will hear them (I did not).

It was quiet during my stay, but there were few guests. David was friendly and accommodating. The shower got comfortably warm. The shower head has an instant electric heater, you will not get great pressure, but it was sufficient for me. You receive 2 keys, one for your room and one for the hotel's front door; this makes access easy all the time.

If you're a solo traveller trying to link up with others you might find it a little too quiet

One of the bathrooms tended to get really wet when showering and then it got quite dirty.

Great location just a short walk to the park and near plenty of restaurants/bars and market food stalls. The hostel offers trips and shuttles at really good value. We didn't use these facilities but a tour we had already booked was just a fraction of the price at the hostel. The terrace had a beautiful view of the city and the kitchen was out there too which was lovely. You could message the owner for any questions that you had.

The city is nice to visit. The hotel is close to center - Parque Americana. Good shopping close by - big supermarked etc. Safe to walk around.

the kitchen could have been a little better equipped

it had the vibe of a hostel where it was very easy to meet people, but you had your own room which was nice. the bathrooms were always clean and the showers were hot too

The most willing and helpful accommodation owner we have ever met. Owner speaks english very well, helped us with different trip connections (Chikabal, Tajumulco) and helped us also much with "dog biting leg problem" (vaccine against rabies...), absolutely beyond the scope of his services.
