There was one server who wasn’t paying attention to us during breakfast but he probably just had a bad day.

The place was impeccably tidy, and the staff were incredibly polite and flexible. Despite booking last minute during Semana Santa when Antigua had strict no-car policies, the front desk kindly allowed us to park in their lot early, ensuring we weren't left stranded. Overall, the service and facilities were excellent and well worth it.

My only negative comment is that my terrace was really noisy due to an air conditioning unit and the air conditioning in my room didn’t work. I did not need it But Sitting outside was very loud.

It’s a haven on peace and tranquility the perfect place to relax in and close enough to the main attractions of Antigua that a short walk gets you to the centre.

I wanted to use the jacuzzi included in my room but because of the noise this only can be turned on before 9 pm.

El Convento it’s a beautiful piece of heaven in the middle of paradise. I wish I stayed longer to enjoy it more.

Bathroom door didn’t close, and the shower door wasn’t aligned so water would spill out easily.

The crown jewel of El Convento was Ariana, the lady at the front desk. She was superb and ensured we had the very best experience. She was amazing. Any problem she solved. Even after our stay had finished she went out of her way to help us. Ariana is the best, you should stay here just to meet her. Thankyou Ari!!

This place is like a piece of heaven on earth , not only because its exceptional beauty , tranquility and comfort ; but the way you are treated . The person that I have to recognize the most is Ariana, at the front desk. She showed us compassion, gave us all the support and made us feel confident that she will try the best to rescue and bring to us our passports and others valuables we left at the other hotel in Guatemala City. She made possible that all our documents were kept save there until a pilot from the Convento Hotel brought all of them to us a day after. Ariana became our angel , but she was not the only one. El Convento Hotel at Antigua is full of angels , they are the ones who makes this place unique

The place was not that clean! I found some hair en the bathtub drain that was not mine and they never clean it. Luckily we had a bathtub and a shower so i could use the other shower!

It did get hot one of the nights, and there was no fan in the room. It'd be great to have a ceiling fan or an optional standing fan. Iron/iron board was not included in my room (I'm not sure if that was mentioned in the booking, if it was I won't fault them for that) they were able to provide one when I needed it.

The room was nice, I had a workstation, which was great for me as I was working during my trip. The bed was comfortable, and I absolutely loved the shower(this was my favorite 😍 The breakfast was great! Grounds were beautifully kept, and the staff was nice. Loved the location of my hotel. It was very central, peaceful, and close to most things I felt safe at the hotel!

Restaurant closes 9pm so maybe closing at least at 11 pm would be great.

We loved this hotel. Location is great, 15 walk from everywhere you need to explore in Antigua. About 2 hours from the airport depending on traffic and hotel can help book transfer. The place itself is beautiful, cozy and renovated. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is great, breakfast at the terrace was lovely. Wifi works fine. Would definitely come back.

Rooms could use one additional trash can in the room. Phone could be labeled more clearly. An additional hook close to the stand up shower would be ideal.

It’s ambience fit the vibe in Antigua. Staff was exceptional and breakfast was delicious.
