The location of White House Hotel-Apart is first-class right next to Pigadia's beautiful promenade. We requested late check-in and check-out and they were accommodated without any problems. The host Menelaos was waiting for us at the door of the hotel when we arrived and welcomed us, took us to our room and showed us the functions of the room. Our room was on the third floor, accessible by elevator. Our balcony and room had a sea view. The host Menelaos is extremely friendly and helpful. We received good advice regarding e.g. car rental, bakeries and shops. The cleaning of the room and bathroom was also first class, in fact everything was really great. We know where we will stay the next time we arrive in Karpathos. Thank you Mr. Menelaos for a wonderful week!

Our host was very friendly and helpful Room cleaned every day and changed sheets and towels. Great location for town and ferry. Plenty of drawers and spacious room. Toasty maker was useful. Good bathroom plenty of hot water.

Super centrally located, but not noisy in the night. Everything (beach, restaurants, cafes, shops...) is in the walking distance from the building. Apartment was super clean, cleaned daily and very spacious. Host is a very friendly, easy going person, and I would always recommend White House for super smooth and easygoing vacation on Karpathos.

- The pressure of the toilet flush was weak, which meant that sometimes material would return to the bottom of the toilet bowl, even after having flushed several times - The kitchenette works well but it's really dated - it would be good to have a new stove and fridge - The freezer didn't work properly and we weren't able to freeze our ice packs (the rest of the fridge worked fine)

- The host, Mr Menelaos, is very knowledgeable, highly professional and available at all times. He puts a lot of effort into ensuring that things run smoothly and that the guests have everything they need. He provides advice about the island and information about basically everything one needs during the stay on the island - Great location, close to basically everything in the island's main town - Reliable air-conditioning - Reliable Internet - Daily cleaning and provision of fresh bedsheets. Also, change of towels very frequent - Fully working and well-fitted shutters on the outside of the window frames - great for keeping the room dark in the early morning. Also, nets on the windows for keeping them open without letting insects inside - Toilet paper and hand soap provided - Lift in the building - Bottle of water and retsina as welcome gifts by the host - Spacious room - Very spacious balcony - Rack on the balcony for drying clothes and towels

- Installed Air-conditioning unit was out of work and there was a portable unit instead. The window had to be open for the portable unit to work so the overall efficiency of air-conditioning was poor. - Rooms are located near a big playground were teenagers are gathered everyday for gossiping and playing football until very late (2-3 am). Very annoying when you sleep with windows open because of the poor performed air-condition. - Bed design is old fashioned with a wooden bar at their lower end which is inconvenient for tall persons (higher than 185cm)

- Menelaos was an excellent host who satisfied all our needs. - The size of the appartment was sufficient for a family of four. - The place of the appartment was convient for accessing both the center and parking space.

The White House Studios is located very conveniently in the main town of Pigadia (Karpathos Town) and was very clean, comfortable and pleasant to stay at. It was also excellent value-for-money. The Hotel Manager Menelaos was absolutely terrific with not just helping with the check-in and providing of general information, etc, but also went 'the extra mile' with providing assistance and help where and whenever he could. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated Menelaos!! Furthermore, the 'origami' towels (a different set provided each and every day!) did not go unappreciated!!

I had an amazing stay in White House Hotel. Starting from mister Menelaos who was kind, understanding and most of all, there for you, when he was needed (tips, recommendations, urgencies). Location was very good. It was close by the promenade. Therefore, the walking distance wasn't bad at all. Also the nearest market and the bus station were only a short distance away. Also the owner was very friendly and took care of everything. Towels were put in a funny and beautiful way everyday.
