The location meant for a tough walk up a steep hill to get into town. Good exercise, but not safe as there were no pavements.

Our stay at Phoenix was brilliant! The Apartment was very clean and all outdoor areas, including the pool, were well maintained. Staff were extremely helpful and were on hand to assist us with taxi bookings and airport transfers, as well as allowing us to keep our luggage stored in reception after check out so we could go for one last wander around Fira before our late flight. The location was also only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Fira, but very peaceful.

The property was great, but you had to walk into town for food and that was the only negative.

The property was quiet, clean and offered great value for Firo, Santorini. We had read the reviews and knew there was a hike into town, but just did not realize how steep the climb. We are seniors and the walk up and down was sometimes daunting and challenging with the very windy conditions we encountered during our stay. If anyone has mobility issues you will need a car to transport you to town. We walked and sometimes several times a day, and it was easy walking down the hill but going up was strenuous.

Great service, the lady on Reception was great. Near the Capital, easy to walk to breakfast place and shopping. Super clean !!! They offer coordinated transfer $ to the airport and activities $. Great service ❤️

The staff were exceptional friendly! Rooms were kept very clean and loved the pool just outside of our door. Also, great communication ahead of time. The grilled cheese maker in the room was a nice touch for someone who had a hungry kid in tow.

The host was super sweet. She kept our luggage safely in the reception after our check out for few hours until we had to leave for our ferry. She even helped carry our luggage outside when she could see me struggling with it. The rooms are pristine and loaded with useful facilities (cutlery, microwave, coffee maker, espresso machine). They even had complementary crackers and juice. The location is very close to Fira center (walkable), so everything is available and accessible from here. You can also catch the sunrise when you come out of your room as it's very close to the sea (on the east).

There is no breakfast included. It would have been great if the hotel offered proper breakfast which was included in the room rate. Location is a bit tricky - you have to climb a steep hill to get to Fira town and most of the walk is on the road. There are no pavements.

Lovely, clean and comfortable hotel. Had a good stay there and slept well. The owner was friendly and accommodated my request for late check in. Bathroom had good attention to detail such as dental kit, makeup towel etc.

The room was very clean and property was very well taken care of. The room was cleaned every day and that included new towels as well. The host was very helpful and arranged transportation from the port to the property. We were only a 10 minute walk from main part of town. All in all a wonderful stay,

Our room only had an area to hang up tops, if you had dresses or skirts these had to be hung up in the room which didn’t bother us too much as we were only there for a week.

Very pretty apartment complex in walking distance from Fira. Pool area is very lovely & there’s a car park for if you hire a car as we did. Rooms were kept very clean with fresh towels each day. Pool towels were also provided & changed during the week. Our room had a terrace & also kitchen items such a kettle, sandwich toaster & fridge which enable us to easily make breakfast & lunch when we wanted. Staff were very friendly & also very helpful when needed.

The stove was not really good enough for family meals. The wifi was also not strong enough. The main road on the way to Fira town centre was dangerous to cross. I also think Santorini is too crowded and expensive especially in July and August.

The owner and staff were great and hospital. The appartment was clean with ample linen and towels. It is close to Fira, although you have to walk up a hill. Santorini itself is so expensive that I think this is a relatively good deal.

Not a dislike as noted on the listing but a steep uphill 10-15 min walk to town in the sun can be fairly hard work and returning in the evening may not be appealing for a single traveller as the road is fairly dark. Our first night after arriving we went to get some supplies and when we returned to our room the air con had been switched off so it appeared someone had come in to the room when we weren’t there which made us feel uncomfortable, hopefully that wasn’t the case

The only slight downside is the walk into Thira itself. It isn’t awful and takes about 10-15 minutes but from the hotel it is all uphill. We didn’t mind this at all but could be a problem for some people. At night it is fine to walk down, there is lighting and we didn’t really see anyone around.

We loved our two night stay here! The pool really made the stay. We arrived late afternoon on day 1 and went straight out to a local winery and to watch the sunset in Thira. The second day we went out to walk the coastal path early and spent all afternoon relaxing by the pool. We were the only two at the pool so had it all to ourselves. The sun loungers were comfortable and a lovely umbrella for shade. The room was fab! Clean and had everything we needed. We had a great sleep.
