Room was very spacious, lean and had everything you needed....drying rack with pegs, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, bowl, tea towels, washing up liquid... literally everything you forget or don't want to buy if you're only there for 2vweeks. The kitchen was also really well equipped, and if you needed anything at all, Antonis would provide it, not that we did!! Cleaning lady was lovely and did a fantastic job, even did our washing up if there was any in the sink. Delicious, filling breakfast every morning, which Antonis would vary everyday so that it didn't get boring, but was quite happy to cook bacon and eggs everyday if that's what you wanted. He couldn't do enough for you. Antonis provided 6 large bottles of water in your room, and just in the lobby, there were fridges with food, wine, boxes of crisps, Raki, Oils, honey, which you could buy. The pool was exceptionally clean. Even when the Sahara wind storms came in, Antonis was out there the next morning cleaning all the pool and surroundings, whilst the cleaner cleaned all the sunbeds, chairs, tables etc. No, it's not a 5* hotel, but it's as close as you'll get for a family run accommodation. Actually nothing. One little thing (but nothing to complain about): a few extra kitchen fourniture would be nice (a few spoons and forks more or a ladle to cook).

Our nights at Gianna Apts were fantastic. We had a nice apartment on the 2nd floor with a good view on the mountains and a big terrace. The hosts are very friendly. We and our children loved the swimming pool, the good location and the wonderfull breakfast! Thank you for the nice stay!

Adonis and Anna were superb hosts. The location is 30 seconds walk from Almyrida with many bars and restaurants and a great beach. The pool bar was fabulous as was the late night wine fridge.

Everything was great!

Everything was very nice. Room was spacious with everything you need. Liked the full size fridge freezer, comfortable beds, plenty hot water! Looked after very well by the great family who own the property, the cleaner was so lovely and kept the rooms clean and tidy! Pool was quite small but perfect for the size of the property! Five minutes walk to the beach and an array of restaurants and bars!

We had a great experience there! Gianna Apartments is a relatively small apartment complex. The unit assigned to us, Apartment A3 is a good-sized unit. The aircon thankfully worked well even in 43° Celcius days. The pool is clean and not so deep so it is not worrisome to let my 7-year old swim there when he's bored with the kids pool. Each room has its own internet sub-router so wifi is strong even in the outdoors. Adonis and his wife are really good, kind and accommodating hosts. Their pool bar offers the best milkshake in Crete 😉. Gianna's Apartments is walking distance to the beach, bakery, supermarkets and restaurants. They have ample parking spaces but can be helpful if you have questions about taxi, car rental and everything else.

I can only confirm the other reviews that scored 9 or 10. And there are some pretty good restaurants and beaches nearby. Antonis and Anna are very pleasant hosts that will make you feel welcome from day 1.

Very pleasant in every way, spacious, lovely pool area, good quality kitchen facilities, extra such as first aid kit and everything you'd need. Really helpful friendly owner and staff. Just a few mins to the beach, shops and restaurants
