A little far from supermarket, when on foot. Carrying water up the hill was hard work. But most people would hire a car.

Everything. Awesome host, location, views. Staying in a windmill is so unique and really cool. Super stylish and comfortable. The out building with kitchen, dining and main bathroom is beautiful too. Loads of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the sunset and views. Central location - we are big walkers and walked everywhere - Plaka, Adamos, the amazing beaches. Daily housekeeping and Maria's generous provisions and home baked goodies. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.

The windmill is traditional, but with all the modern touches to give you a comfortable stay. The 360 degree views over Milos are amazing, and you feel a world away in you own private oasis. Maria keeps the place well stocked with everything you need, and even has some homemade treats waiting for you when you arrive. After a day of exploring, we couldn’t wait to get back to our windmill, which can be seen from many locations on the island.

Spotlessly clean, excellent beds and linens. Kitchen was well equipped. The location is wonderful, very quiet yet walkable to restaurants and Plaka. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. Maria is very friendly and kind - bringing lovely cakes and allowing us late check out for evening ferry. Would highly recommend and excellent value for money. 10/10.

Only one of the two rooms had air conditioning. The bed on the first floor was small for two people.

Location is stunning with a 360 degree overview of the sea. Host was very kind, left cake and cookies (both self made), beers, wine and water.

This is one of the favorite places that we have stayed. Wonderful views of the water and the sunrise, lots of outdoor space to relax and thoughful little touches from the host. If we're in the Aegean again, we would definitely return.

The hospitality was amazing. The hostess mrs Maria made twice during our stay homemade cakes and cookies. Another morning we found fresh cherry tomatoes from their garden. The location was amazing. Panoramic 360o view. Beautiful traditional details in decoration. The kitchen was our favorite meeting point to share and cook with our daughters. Thank you for everything. We are looking forward to come back.

Everything about this place was perfect. The windmill has veen converted into a modern luxury house but it remains cute and full of charm. The view is spectacular, you can see most of the island because the windmill is located on a high point on a ridge. We loved staying here.

The bedroom on the top floor had AC. The other room had a fan. It was a little warm but not unbearable. No surprise, it does get windy here! People also drive down here for the view, but the property is fenced so feels secure.

Maria’s property is so unique! We loved it. She provided such nice hospitality - homemade tart and jams, wine, coffee and bottled water. Big bathroom was lovely with spa slippers. We did not have a car but taxis worked fine to get into town and we walked locally to restaurants, catacombs and archaeology museum. The outdoor space is amazing.

Maria is a wonderful guest and her windmill is gorgeous... Fully equipped although providing an old style atmosphere that brings you back ages... Ideally located in Tripiti, quiet and close to major Milos spots (rent a car on Milos!). Maria welcomed us with wine and home-made pastries, together with her smiling face! One of our best-off in Cyclades. We'll come back for sure...

There was nothing not to like.

Great location, stunning views, lovely refurbished windmill with all the necessary facilities and amenities, nice terrace... Drougas has everything you might need and more. The place is beautiful and quiet, very close to the capital Plaka. The owner and Mrs. Maria are very responsive and will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible (including lovely homemade desserts and jams and a well stocked fridge). Myself, my sister and nephews (8 and 12) have been very happy here and we would love to come back.
