The fridge and air conditioning were old and not in good condition - just about functional but basically in need of replacement. However, we coped well enough, and these details did not detract from our enjoyment of the environment generally. The lever-operated plug in the wash basin was broken but, again, we weren't massively inconvenienced by this. We were used to small inconveniences from previous visits but the beds were comfortable and the overall effect was pleasant. The only thing that we didn't like this time was that cleaning staff came in while we were at breakfast and just emptied the bins and removed the sheets and covers we had put on the bed and roughly twisted the top sheets on top of rumpled sheets. Not very impressive!

This was, in fact, our fourth weekend stay in this hotel, which says a lot in itself. On our first visit, we were bowled over by the location - right on the beach - and the grandstand view of the sunrise which has never failed to delight us every day we have stayed there. The rooms are adequate but do really need upgrading and some are more in need of this than others. The breakfasts are fine for a three-star hotel and there is a lovely breakfast area outside with the beautiful sea view and an inside area for bad weather. Staff have always been very helpful. This time, we had particularly requested a room on the second floor as, in our experience, the rooms we have stayed in there have been better both to look at and in terms of cleanliness than the ones lower down. The receptionist managed to get us checked into our room as early as possible and earlier than the normal check-in time, as per our second request, which we appreciated very much. The room was clean and looked as if it had been repainted fairly recently and the rather elderly furniture and cupboards cleaned up and made presentable. We knew what to expect and we knew the area and had a really lovely time.

the city so close with so many restaurants and supermarkets - we really enjoyed the location at the end of this village exceptionally good room service - day by day . high adaption to guests comfort you can reach all corners of the island by rental car quit easily

Filter coffee. Some people smoked a lot. Should be a separate area for people who smoke. We paid municipal tax fee separately. It was not included in the price that we paid through booking com.

We liked our stay there. The location was great. The hotel has its own beach and also it is close to the bus stop (Bus #6). You can easily go to the Old city or airport from there. The maids cleaned our room every day. The food was good, enough options to choose from. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and nice. The receptionists Yana and Jenny were polite and ready to help 24/7. If you want to travel around Corfu, take a boat or bus trip- Jenny is a true expert who will advise you best options based on your preferences and budget. We wanted to be close to the sea and enjoy the sea view every day, so the hotel met our expectactions in this sense.

you can see that the hotel is old and the furniture is used especially in the bathroom. the bathrooms might need some renovation.

the location is amazing, right on the beach, you could see the sunset laying in bed. clear waters, free sunsbeds and umbrellas. the breakfast was really tasty. the staff at the reception was super super nice and recommended us places to go and cooperated well with us. lot of parking space. air conditioning working well as well as the water in the shower. also the view from the restaurant is amazing.

The rooms do need an update however everything works, we had some mosquitos in the room so take a good repellent. The road outside can get busy however you can walk to the village on the beach.

Best part of this hotel is the location and the staff. Jenny at reception deserves a special mention for her welcome and for organising our excursions. The hotel is on the beach, we were in the clear water more on this break so take swimming goggles to follow the fish. This friendly hotel is just a short walk to the vibrant village and marina.

The hotel condition is extremely old. Too much mosquitos in hotel area and in all surrounding. Area around hotel like after Armageddon. A lot of abandoned building. No ways for pedestrians. People come along the road passing cars and buses. The main road is dirty. Too much rubbish!

Location right on the beach and cleanses in hotel was perfect. Food in restaurant was pretty good also. It’s always possible to get a place under umbrella on the beach. The beach itself very good! Personal in bar were friendly, helpful and polite.

We stayed 3 nights and the internet DID NOT work properly the whole time (it would connect then immediately disconnect) Connection seemed to improve only in the wee hours of the morning. The room was elegant, but the bathroom could use some upgrading. The bus ride to/from Corfu Town is a bit long and seats on the #6 bus are limited so expect to stand the whole time if it's busy time of day. We went at the end of June so it was VERY hot. Only some buses have air-conditioning.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Decor was very nice. Comfortable with air-conditioning. Beautiful beach-front views from the balcony. Nice breakfast included. Close to Benitses Town, nice shops and restaurants by foot. The Bus Stops to and from Corfu Town are just steps away. Bottles of water for purchase are really inexpensive at the little shops ..even at the airport! Beaches were very nice.

The aircon worked mostly but last day would keep shutting off. Something with the door sensor for the balcony when you open the door the aircon would shut off. Little hot and humid in Corfu. At least the room was mostly cool during our stay.

Didn't know quadruple room is 1 room for 4 people. 1 bed and 1 bunk bed. It would be okay for parents and 2 little kids, but are 2 kids already grown adults. Lol thought it would be joined 2 rooms.

They sell rooms on booking like their spa is open with even pictures of it but when you get there they say its closed. I booked this hotel cause they had a jacuzzi and found myself in that situation. Everything is cheap and old. Worst beds we ever tried and uneven being one higher than the other. (We could feel the metal Springs) When they clean, the floor smells worse than if they don't so we prefered them not to "clean" our room. Cleaners left a hair elastic band on our room that wasnt ours? The bedsheets felt like carton and the pillows are horrible. The noise from the road is so loud, the fridge was broken and rusted same as the toilet. The sink full of hair since the day of our arrival. The air conditioner loosing water and leaving the toilett full of water. Also it was very old and noisy, stained to the point that it turned brown. Before staying at this place, we were in a 2 star hotel in Acharavi and it was 1000 times better. We were making fun of the hotel and whoever had the braveness of claiming on having 4 stars. I would like to discuss the issue of double taxation. Many people in the comments here have mentioned that they were charged for taxes twice - once by Booking and then again by the Hotel. We also encountered the same problem. Upon check-in, they attempted to charge us the tax. I explained that I had already paid all the taxes and showed them the payment receipt from Booking in English, where the required tax amount was clearly stated. The administrator said they would look into it. However, during check-out, they started demanding the same tax payment again, claiming that Booking does not transfer those funds to the hotel. But this should not be my problem as I have already paid all the necessary fees. It is the hotel's responsibility to resolve the issue with Booking regarding tax reimbursement. I proposed a reasonable solution - if they don't want to handle the issue with Booking themselves, I can refund the money, and when tax is returned to me, I will pay it to the hotel. However, instead of finding the correct solution, the administrator insisted on charging me the tax for the SECOND time, effectively asking for double payment. This was done during check-out, just 10 minutes before our bus departure, deliberately to prevent us from resolving the issue on the spot. The hotel took double payment for the tax and sent us to deal with all the issues ourselves. Booking is not refunding the money! It has been half a month already, the money has been paid twice, and there is no response. There are two solutions to this problem: 1. Booking should collect the tax and transfer it to the hotel. 2. Booking should not collect the tax, and in that case, the client pays it directly to the hotel. However, the administration chose not to resolve the issue and instead demanded payment TWICE. Please do not respond to this comment with a copy of your request to Booking or similar responses, as this does not solve the problem of the tax that I have already paid twice.

I enjoyed the breakfast. The dishes offered were similar every day, but there were several variations of each dish that could be alternated daily. The room underwent daily dry and wet cleaning, with bed linen and towels changed. The balconies are positioned in such a way that the sun starts to fade after lunch, so the balcony surface does not get too hot. There is a free beach with umbrellas and sun loungers. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, and tableware, allowing us to enjoy tea on the balcony right by the sea. The conditions and ambiance of the room corresponded to the description, with no issues. It would have been an excellent vacation if it weren't for the complications arising from the double tax matters. Because of this, the vacation, and the two weeks following it, were ruined.

Room service was poor, and below standards, cleaning was not properly done : the bathroom sink was left dirty as well as the shower, and everything was pretty superficially and very roughly cleaned. Bed linen has not been changed for days, and the wardrobe was full of dust. Food (buffet for breakfast and dinner - half board) was not even eatable and most of times recycled from the previous dinner (no variety, very low quality, and above all, nothing freshly-made) to the point that sometimes we preferred eating out rather that having our meal there, despite everything was already paid. As to the hotel beach, the only asset was the cleanliness of the sea. In fact, each client had to take his own sunbed and parasol and place them somewhere on a first-come first-served basis (mostly at dawn) which resulted in later-comers being left with no shadow or worse forced to dispute with other people to get their piece of shadow. The hotel furnishings are old-fashioned and need serious renovation. On top of that, rooms smelt like sewage. To conclude, this is not what you can call a 4-star hotel but nothing short of a 2-star hotel with sea view. Very disappointed!!!

There is nothing I didn't like. I am very happy with my stay. I came for 7 nights but pronged with 3 more.

I love this place and want to come back. It is on the end of a busy road which makes it quiet and perfect for relaxation. On the other hand it is a few metres away from the bus station 6 which goes to Corfu town and to all the shops and restaurants and ten minutes walking distance to the centre of Bénitses. It has its own beach and the chairs and umbrellas are for free. The staff is very helpful. Special thanks to Andrei and Eugenia. The rooms are nice and spacious, not luxurious but just perfect, all of them with a great view to the sea.

The bathroom was stinking and the shower is tiny. One day we had a problem with shower so we couldn´t take a shower. It was fixed another day. It´s impossible turn around inside shower. When we arrived we paid taxes upon check - in but when I reserved and paid throught Booking.com the room I paid taxes and fees included my price and stuff didn´t understand it... We had brekfast included but it was something new for me. Every day same food, no taste, smelly. Coffee and juices were like sirup plus water mixed.... And the beach is stony. To be honest, this is not a 4 star hotel!

The hotel itself demands a strong renovation, it's definitely not a 4-star hotel,rather a low-quality 3. It seems you get back into 1970s . Furniture is old,damaged ,even the air-conditioning is painted pink,also it is too loud,like a tractor and blows strong and cold air right on you. The bathroom is amazingly small with the blocked canalisation. The shower is tiny, it's not possible to make any move,so you feel like a dwarf.It is a real challenge to take a shower. The safe in the room doesn't work ,when we told the reception,they gave us the key,but they even don't know that there is no slot for it.Plus, when you check in ,they demand to pay the tax,the kind of they can't explain, it's 21 euro for 7 night for 2 people.And they don't care that you say you have paid all the taxes through Booking.com. And finally ,breakfast! Everything is the same every day,very poor selection.It really smells disgusting because they put the food into their old fridge.Boiled and fried eggs,2 types of cheese ,1 type of sausage,tomatoes ,cucumbers and small olives,coffee has no taste at all.If you had small sausages one day,they next day they will be chopped and mixed with the ketchup. Their breakfast is a good option for people who want to get fit, when you recall the smell in your mind,you don't feel hungry at all. Their beach is not private,you will see a lot of people who pop-up from everywhere and use it,take sunbeds and umbrellas also for free.Plus to enter the sea you will need protective swimming shoes to deal with the pebbles.Yes, it's not sandy.

I encountered some of the rudest and the most unpleasant people I have ever met. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, it resembled a motel from the 90s. The lady at reception was particularly troublesome, insisting that I have to pay an extra fee despite everything being included in my booking payment. Despite contacting booking support and showing her proof of payment, she refused to check with them and continued to demand money. One morning, we arrived at breakfast a 10-15 minutes earlier due to a mistake. Restaurant only had bread and cheese prepared. We were okay with that since we were in a hurry, lady form restaurant allowed us to eat. However, she caused a scene by calling the receptionist to complain about us being early and even they argued about it next to us. Receptionist come to us to complain that we are to early. After we had some bread and coffee, the restaurant staff closed the doors behind us so we couldn't get any more food. They only opened the doors again after 10 minutes. A/C is loud like a mower... So you have 2 option not sleep because of temperature or not sleep because od noise. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! TERRIBLE PEOPLE! Waste of money!

The location was wonderful and they great care of us there as though we were family. The beach was perfect to survive the heat wave. On our last day we had to leave before breakfast was served to catch our flight and they made us sweet goodie bags to go. I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful family vacation.
