When I extended my stay, the staff said no more available room but on line it shows available

My bed was extremely squeaky so everytime i turned it was very loud.

The rooftop bar is amazing. You got good cocktails and music and a great view.

Water bottle was not provided in room neither do they allow us to buy at reception. If arriving late please get the water bottle or if normal day time then there are lots of local shop next to Hotel to buy water.

Property is centrally located and you can visit all tourist attractions by walk. It’s around 15-20 min walk from all major attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Absolute value for money.

Elevator is old and slow. Can get loud on weekends.

It was easy to use the tram to get to all locations of interest. It’s near great food options. Rooftop bar is fun and affordable with excellent views.

Breakfast for 5 euros are not the best deal for what are you given. Lobby area dirty, but overal fine. Nothing for privacy on beds like curtains or something similiar.

Although the beds were comfortable there were no curtains so it felt very open when sleeping.

Comfortable, clean. The rooftop bar was a lot of fun and breakfast at the hostel was convenient. Staff were friendly and overall the hostel had a good vibe.

The staff weren't super helpful when it came to questions but it seemed for lack of knowledge, they were friendly though. The younger vibe could be a turn down for some who are looking for a more mature crowd.

Great place, staff was friendly enoughl, the room was a great value for the price and the nice little balcony was cool though the view is basically of other buildings. There was a great rooftop bar, the vibe generally seemed to be on the younger side (18-21). Cheap breakfast which had the basics, coffee and juice which was great

The rooftop has spectacular views and lots of sun, but only hard steel stools. A few comfy couches or sun loungers for those of us that like to sit in the sun and read or just hang, would be a huge plus.

I almost did not stay here because several reviewers thought it was a rough neighborhood. It is not. It is a working-class neighborhood with local, non-tourist oriented shops and cheap restaurants. For me, this was very authentic Athens.

The street where the hostel is located is not the best. Although we didn’t feel particularly unsafe, the walk there wasn’t always pleasant.

Very friendly staff, clean and organised, with a nice rooftop overlooking the city, and 5 mins walk from Monastiraki, which was very convenient.

We arrived pretty late by car and the team at the reception even organized that we got a parking space just in front of the hostel for 3 days, really nice service! Also the was the Hostel at a great and close Location with lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms and toilets were always clean and we can really recommend a stay at the Athen Hawks.

Surrounding area of the Hostel was a little disappointing as it was not very clean, however this is not the fault of the Hostel.

Hostel is great ,clean and has a fantastic view from the bar. Guys at reception are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the receptionist's brilliant recommendation our stay was better then expected. It is also very central and most of the amenities are within walking distance.

The location is central but in a neighborhood with empty properties and dubious people walking around. I didn't feel very safe at night outside. Breakfast was rather okay with some boiled eggs and some fruit being highlights ... But okay value for money given the 5 EUR they charged.

I was surprised who clean and tidy my single bedroom was, with daily fresh towels included. There's some graffiti in the lift though, which staff could remove at some point. Staff seemed friendly and relatively helpful. They could have given a bit more information on things outside immediate duties when I prompetd, like how to book online tickets for sights like the Acropolis etc.

I appreciate that maintenance needs to be done but it was a little bit irritating having decorators splashing paint in the lounge and stairway maybe they could do the works during the off season. Location isn’t great just be vigilant walking about at night.

A fantastic hostel at a great price and there is chargers by the bed which is good and there is a nice rooftop balcony

Basic facilities in Bathroom were not provided No shower gel , Towel. During check out i lost my key card and receptionist asked for 10 Euro which was ridiculous I explained her I myself working in hotels as a regional sales manager it never happen you loose key and you pay for it after few arguments she said ok let it go I am not charging.

Newly build property good location still work is going on but whatever rooms they have open are in good conditions and very easy accessible Lift was very small and old type so can not not do much about it
