Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Austria- selling issues I booked on Booking.com an accomodation with a view on the sea. There was place, since I arrived on the first day - camp opening, but they still charged me to pay the front view accomodation, since some hidden information popped up on the reception that you can find nowhere on booking and was printed from the stuff at that moment that there are categories of sea view and this that I booked is the second row and yeah, suprice!!! if you want the first row, an upgrade, you have to pay more. That deffinitely should be changed, since it is a big disaster to negotiate for something that you have payed in first place, please, no tricks. - first row accomodation - loud It was very loud from the waves at night in the first row accomodation, so maybe it's better to go back anyway. - mosquitoes since it is near water and it is a camp, you need to be aware ot the mosquitoes, if I may call them greek mosquitoes, they are a special kind, and can couse allergies sometimes, they can be sometimes in your vehicle, so alway be prepared to protect your skin. -if your flash in the toilette/WC is not working, go ask for help, don't try to fix it, better fill a pot with wather and wait for them to fix it.
Great camp when not in season for families. The store, the taverna, the facilities and the accomodation are really very good equiped, sometimes better than the city stores and that makes the vacation very satisfying. I will definitely go back again with my family in April, Mai or September and Oktober.

kids-friendly camping place in the woods.Very well organized camping place with an amazing beach, there is one fast food place, 1 cafe, 1 restaurant, 1 cocktail bar, a super market and a shop for swim utensils&co. Green, friendly stuff, in the evening everyone was respecting the rules (not getting loud, etc.).

RomaniaThey seems to be booked with a alot of time in advance. Their container houses although they are nice and cozy, they cost you "an arm and a leg". More then 125 euro for 1 night in a container (true that was nice but still is 7x4m) seems a lot to me. They advertise it's a 6 ppl place but to be true is more like for 4 ppl.
Camping experience is nice overall at Armenistis. Beach and water are great. The site was full of Campers, RV, tents of different shapes and sizes. It's like a festival :)

SerbiaBeds in the tent are old and not comfortable. In my opinion, it would be good to bring your own sheets or sleeping bag might be an option (plus nights can be a bit colder). Bathroom facilities could be better as well.
Beach is amazing - white sand and crystal clear water. Camp is nice and clean. Hostel tents are 1min away from the beach and have nice BBQ area.

North MacedoniaThey don't sell giro. It is always full. You are lucky if you can make a reservation.
We stayed in the caravan 12. I liked the location, cleanness, equipped with everything you need, you don' t have to bring anything except for towels and bathing suit and a jumper in September. It is a quiet & peaceful place, beautiful beach, good staff, parking, small kitchen outside, there is a well equipped store, restaurants 2 or 3, clean toilets on every corner, hot shower, beach shower. There are also some trees on the beach, under which you could hide from the sun. I would stay there forever.🙂

BelgiumThe facilities of the bathroom and toilets are not fantastic. But it's of course a big camping, so that is understandable.
The concept of a hostel at such a location is just everything a solotraveler is searching for. 1min walk and you are on the beach. It's a wonderful beach also. The whole concept of the whole camping is just fantastic. Super supermarkt where everything is that you need. Except maybe fresh fish. Also in the hostel I slept the three nights great, so no complaining about that. But wouldn't try sleep in the day with the heat. Also the other travelers were great people.

North MacedoniaThe youth hostel tents can be cleaned better (there were some traces of dirt and dust). The mattresses are bad and the sleeping is with poor quality, but you get used to it. They give you a sheet/cover and a pillow case, but I reccommend bringing your own bedding. At night it gets colder (especially in June and in September) so you should get a thicker cover. During the night in the tent is cold and in the morining it gets unbearably hot. It is difficult to stay inside during the day and have a nap due to high temperatures. What I also didn't like is that there is no electricity for cooking (only for phone charging, hair dryer etc), so you cannot cook (cooking inside the tents is forbidden, and there are no plug-ins outside the tents). There is a BBQ available, or you can eat something from the fridge or from the restaurant (take-offs have 10% discount). Keep in mind that there is no pizza or gyros available, so if you want that you can go to Sarti (15 min ride). Fish or sea food is also not available at the supermarket. There are also no kitchen utensils in the tents (pots, plates, cups or cutlery) so you should bring everythinf or buy from the supermarket.
The camp is amazing, very well organized and safe, frequently cleaned and the sea has a cristal clear water. Overall Armenistis has a very good vibe and energy. Once you visit it, you'd like to come back. There is a big store and you can find almost anything, a huge butcher shop, with great meat selection and the prices are affordable. There's also a huge restaurant and a bar. The toilets are cleaned literally every 3 hours and there is free soap and hand papper available. I was accommodated at the youth hostel tents, there are 6 of them. They are located at the best location of the camp (a bit further than the big crowd and the rest of the tents, but very close to the beach). They weren't completely booked, so there is a fine balance of people. Inside you can find: lockers, fridge, mirror, fan and electricity plug-ins. 2 big BBQs are available outside the tents and 3 big tables with x2 benches each. It is a great place to meat mostly Greek bur also international people. For solo travelers, also women travelling alone, I highly recommend it!

North MacedoniaThe mobile home was not very clean. There were spiderwebs all over the corners and there was hair in the shower drain. The communal restrooms were far cleaner. The dishes needed to be rewashed before we could use them.
The location is amazing and it is an awesome place to spend time with your family. We loved that the beach was not organised, so you could spent a day out and bring snacks without any limitations. The team was very responsive. After a light gave out, they changed it immediately. The cleaning service is also nice. They come quite often to change your towels and bedding.

North MacedoniaThe mobile homes are not so spacious as they look on the photo and when you walk to the bathroom for example there is noise and it feels like it has eartquake, but its wort for the money because you have wonderfull yard where you can spend most of the time. Also i didnt like that they dont clean the send on the beach. They need to clean homes everyday because otherwise is getting dirty :/
The nature around the camp is amazing. We stayed in mobile homes which are good option for someone who doesnt want camping, you have everything you need for cooking and great yard and the birds make the best sound. Beach is sandy whith cristal clear anf calm water when the weather is good, you can take youre beds and umbrella in case you dont want to pay in the bar because in seasson you will need to pay from 10 to 20eur +drink. Its good option for holiday with baby. P.S bring hamock, there is place for it in the mobile homes
