We absolutely loved everything about this Villa in Zola! We stayed for a week and the owners made us feel like family. Even though the owners were on site it never seemed like they were. The place was spotless. Very tranquil to the eyeballs and ears. Better than the pictures! I would highly recommend staying at this Villa and would definitely book here again in the future!

Having to leave for the uk

The villa is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings spectacular. Kefalonia is a very special island. Kleopatra and Dimitri are such kind people and made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you also Kleopatra for the delicious treats you made for us. We certainly hope to see you again.

The flat is spacious, clean, with multiple terraces and amazing views. The beds are comfortable and there is so much care put in by Kleopatra making them every day. Kleopatra also drops in cakes and savoury purse every few days. Dimitris has boats and does a wonderful tour of the nearby coastline. It was the highlight of our stay. They are simply wonderful hosts. Zola may seem a little isolated but it’s a great location to reach all parts of the island. Lixouri with its restaurants and supermarkets is an easy 20 mn drive. April is a great place to visit with very few tourists and all the flowers in bloom. Some places are shut but enough are open. Would highly recommend Villa Alexandros, and a Spring holiday in Kefalonia.

If I could put more than 10, I would put much more. There was a house of dream where we spent 10 nice days in Kefalonia. Especially we liked how Cleopatra and Dimitris cared us with their warm and hospitality. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and very well maintained. Everyday Cleopatra treated us with different desserts and traditional greek dishes. We also liked very much the fish prepared by Dimitris. Also we had a boat tour with Dimitris that was really fantastic. The view from the terrace was magnificent. This is the best place we have ever stayed in Greece. For sure, I would like to come back.

The Wifi wasn't great, but I had a plan B with my own 5G SIM which worked decent enough. But then, having to work from a terrace, is it really a negative? :)

The view, the friendliness of the hosts and yet total privacy. Overall a brilliant experience and I can thoroughly recommend Zola as a base (perhaps except for lack of sunsets, but there isn't a better option for this without sacrificing other aspects).

The accommodation is excellent. Great kitchen for meal preparation, lovely bathroom with spa bath, large comfortable bed, terraces and balconies for sun or shade. The views are spectacular. Parking is easy. Our hosts cooked us a fantastic fish feast one night and Cleopatra spoilt us with all sorts of delicious treats. I could not recommend this place more.

Going away

The house is just wonderful. The view is amazing and you have five large terraces to enjoy it. One has sunbeds and a big table, on a rooftop jacuzzi, one a very comfortable sofa. It is on on top of a hill, so it is breezy and we rarely used the air conditioning, although it was very hot. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a confortable stay. Air conditioning is working perfectly. Netflix was a treat for my kids. The service offered is very personalized. Dimitri gives plenty of useful advise, including meteo, tavernas, beaches. Kleopatra is a wonderful guest. She would clean the house every day and even do the washing! She spoiled us with some homemade food and fresh fruit. Dimitri would get figs from the garden. We loved the boat tour that Dimitri offered. We visted many unpoiled beaches, we had plenty of time for swimming, exploring caved and taking photos. This was also a good valur for money. All together, this was the best house we have ever been, and we are keen travellers. Thank you for making our stay fantastic.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The wifi wasn't very strong throughout the property but we didn't mind.

Everything was perfect! If I could give it 6 stars if I would! The location was central to the nearby villages Asos,Fiskardo,Lixouri, Argostoli, Airport (30-40 min drive) and beautiful beaches Myrtos,Fteri, which you need a car to get to. If you don't want to explore anything then you can peacefully and quietly stay here undisturbed. The hosts were exceptional! Our rooms were cleaned daily and we were offered a boat tour for a reasonable price which is a MUST!!

Amazing place, the view is fantastic. It looks even better than the pictures. The owners are so kind and friendly. Dimitri took us to a boat trip, which was wonderful. We visit Fteri Beach, Camari and Gerisani cave. This was our perfect day. Kleopatra made us very tasty fried fish. There are 2 beaches in few minutes by car, which are nice for swimming and eating, and drinking cocktails. Thank you 😊

The position in Zola is perfect, the views, walks and beaches are fantastic. The house itself and facilities are also perfect! Choose a balcony for any time of day! Wonderful hosts -Dimitris and Kleopatra were very attentive and kind, especially providing breakfast the first day (we arrived midnight) and treats , great views from a super apartment. The apartment was very clean and the attention to detail of the fittings and furnishings was super. We hope to return at some point. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic week at Villa Alexandros. It is located on the western slope of a valley which stretches from Myrtos Bay to Livadi Bay, offering views of Myrtos Bay and the surrounding mountains. This was a lovely sight to wake up to. The village of Zola is relatively small and quiet, with the main noise coming from the bells worn by local goats; there was a very good, friendly family restaurant, Stou Tsagkari, a short walk away from the property, and I think Agia Kiriaki beach and Vouti Beach (also both walkable if you don't mind a bit of a climb on the way back) have more facilities open in high season. Otherwise, Kleopatra and Dimitris (who live downstairs) are also very happy to lay on meals if you would like: Kleopatra's cooking is brilliant. Zola's location close to the centre of Kefalonia also means most major towns, from Fiskardo in the North to Sami in the East to Argostoli in the South, and other tourist sites, are all only 30-50 minutes away, even allowing for some winding, narrow roads. We were able to pack quite a lot of sightseeing into our week without forcing the pace too much. The property, spread over two floors is very well laid out, with a sizable kitchen, multiple balconies (including one with a small sitting pool to cool off in during hot weather), two bathrooms and three bedrooms, one of which doubles as a sitting room: all clean, comfortable, nicely-furnished and equipped. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into the design and provisioning, and Kleopatra and Dimitris were always available to answer any queries.

I have no words to describe the kindness of the owner, and how beautiful the villa is, a real treasure! The Villa was quirky in a good way. Everything was impeccably- impeccably clean. Beautiful and clean bathrooms , furnishing too. Stunning views from the terraces to the ocean and the mountains . Cleopatra was a very helpful host making a number of fine recommendations for dining and places of interest .Also ,a big surprise for us , was the treat she gave to us , because the restaurant at the village was closed. I highly recommend it! Thank you very much and see you soon .
