Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

There was a really nice small pool. It has all your basic amenities.
The staff were really great! They were very prompt and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Everyone was very welcoming and hospitable, especially Henry.

Very clean
There service was really good the staffs are very friendly so caring the manager was so nice they clean our rooms every day they make sure we where satisfy thanks to all crew we really enjoyed our stay and we will surely come back

The Cabyn Review Right from the first moment that we arrived at The Cabyn, we were received and greeted with such grace and warmth. The manager and staff at The Cabyn made us feel right at home and were attentive to all of our needs. We stayed in the family suite on the first floor (be mindful of the staircase in case anyone in your party has restricted mobility) The suite had such a lovely feel to it and is spacious. Personally, the larger a space is the better it is for me so the family suite was exactly what we needed to have a relaxing time away and a relaxing time is what we did have…. We had most of our meals at the hotel and we enjoyed every bit of it! One of our favourite options was the fresh Tilapia and shito sauce - absolutely delish! We stayed at The Cabyn for just over a week and it will be remiss of me not to mention the impeccable work of the Housekeeper. She did an amazing job keeping our suite uber tidy and clean. It made us feel like royalty😊 All in all, we had a fabulous stay at The Cabyn. It really is like home away from home but with a huge dollop of luxury added in 😉 We hope to return sometime in the future. A huge thank you to the manager and all the amazing staff at The Cabyn for your wonderful service🤗

The bed in the deluxe room were still normal size beds, I was expecting a queen or king size bed

The breakfast was ok, more variety needed. Location was not the best., was some distance away from the City but also the heavy traffic made it seem much worst.
it was exactly as advertised; rooms were comfortable and tidy. I was worried about the quality of the Wi-Fi but I was able to attend my online classes and my sister was able to tutor her students with no interruptions in the service. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Much thanks to Rachel for assisting with organizing an impromptu day tour for my group. Enjoyed the availability of a pool

Everything was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and professionl. I ordered a Spanish omelette for breakfast- it was well done and tasted great . Lots of positive changes since my last visit. They now have a small dining table for 2 in the room I booked and a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. Standard seem to drop in most hotels I’ve been to, but not The Cabyn. I highly recommend this facility for all travelers and families.

Nice rooms, great to receive upgrade to 2 rooms with living room, (thank you), next time I will book that. Very friendly staff and provided what we needed. Good wifi. Good place to stay in Accra.

Great value for money and I highly recommend it for a budget price but premium experience.
Very cozy and clean environment, polite and friendly staff with great customer service mindset. The food was great and affordable. Overall, I couldn't believe I paid very little for such an amazing premium experience.

So far i didn't see any bad my stay was great i enjoyed the hospitality.

The English breakfast was decent but nothing special. During the day the WiFi was slow, but an advantage if you come for some good rest.
The Cabyn is a small boutique hotel where you really feel welcome. The room was nice and tidy and the different hosts really helpful. The meals are affordable and of good quality. A great place to rest and enjoy tranquility. You get a very good experience for your money.

Had a problem with the shower in my room. they had a problem with their pump in the evening or so but was only fixed the morning i was leaving.
The breakfast was really good and the location is good as well. THe rooms are comfortable enough and the entire place looks great for a short stay. A lot of space to park as well
