We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe safe was not working when we arrived. It was replaced after a bit of a palaver, so no big deal really. A light bulb could not be replaced because there were none in stock, but true to their word it was sorted the next day. The toilet brush in the bathroom was way too high up!
The staff. Very attentive, nothing was too much for them. Two of the waitresses Grace and another whose name began with C (?Charlotte) were exceptional. This is a lovely hotel. Well presented, cared for and located and I would definitely stay there again. Very secure.

GreeceThe WiFi was barely working at the time, although they told us it was a temporary issue related to the telecoms provider. The pool was tiny and could be cleaner. Overall, not the best value for money but OK to experience the serene environment.
The hotel is quite nicely decorated and arranged. Good vibes. The location and staff were also great.

FranceThe restaurant of the hotel wasn’t really that great and a little bit overpriced, given the limited menu and the average taste of the food (in my opinion.) This is something they can definitely improve even the standards that many places you have used us to in Accra.
I really enjoyed my stay at La Villa boutique Hotel, as always. The place is simply stunning. You feel as if you are in a tropical heaven in the middle of Accra. Everything about the aesthetics of the place and the over all atmosphere was top tier. I will definitely be back !

SenegalThe shower head needed replacement, and one of the electric plugs did not work. Some small maintenance work was needed, otherwise all fine.
Bed was very comfortable, with the mattress having the right firmness. The room is quite big - it was my second stay at La villa, and both times my room was big. The breakfast has delicious fresh fruits and good selection of different pastries, eggs and other food.

Not the cheapest, but it is a place in Accra that locals recommend to their friends when $200usd a night is affordable. Not your typical African budget hotel. Nor is it a $450usd resort.

SwedenThe planes departing and landing at the nearby international airport were a bit disturbing, especially early in the morning, but not much that can be done about it. The (only) treadmill in the gym was broken. In general, some additional weights and other equipment would be nice, especially when there is more than one person in the gym.
The hotel is well-located in a compound with bungalow-style villas, lush gardens, and a nice restaurant with pool in the centre. The room was airy with a big bathroom. The breakfast and other food served at the restaurant was good but nothing special.
