No hot water in the evening. Would benefit from electric showers, so you always get a shower. Get rid of the baths. Internet very poor.

Good breakfast, plenty to eat. Location was fine, but the room was disappointing. The bathroom was poor. The shower needed refurbishing and the high sided bath made access difficult for people with restricted mobility. The WiFi did not reach the bedroom, so it was necessary to go into the bar to connect.

The night porter he was putting recycling bottles in to the bins next to car park at back of hotel, which was at 5.30 am and just think he might have woke up guests aswell as me wasn't very considerate.also there was no plug to have a bath .

I had read the reviews before arriving, so I kind of knew what to expect. The parking wasn't ideal. We were lucky to get a spot around the back! I guess theres not much they can do about that. The room was very dated, could do with a full new bathroom suite, just something white and plain. Nothing fancy. The plaster was coming off the walls, and we could see patches everywhere. The floor and bathroom door creaking were horrendous. Again, floor boards just need sorting. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed at 5pm the night we stayed, so we did need to search out for tea. I must add that we would still stay here again tho!! 😊

The price for the room was fantastic. And including breakfast, brilliant. The location was brilliant for what we wanted. The size of the room was excellent for two adults and two kids! More than enough space. The pub underneath was very convenient as well. The facilities in the room were a lovely addition, tea/coffee and shampoos, etc. in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable too.

Everything was very dated. The bathroom was disgusting. There was paint and plaster peeling off of the ceiling and walls. The walls leading to where our room were were also falling apart.

Our room was cold when we checked in at 3:00pm and no hot water, we were advised by a member of staff that the heating was on a timer set to operate at 5:00pm however we could use the two electric radiators that were in the room.
