Hospitality was great, very welcoming and helpful, friendly hosts. Room nice and clean, bed comfortable and breakfast delicious! Views were fabulous looking across to France.

The blind in the bedroom had been damaged by previous occupant and was not in situ. This would not stop my wife and I staying again in this venue.

Breakfast really good.. Situation superb. No on site parking , but permission to park (free of charge) in all municipal parking areas (even if there should have been a charge). Cleanliness superb. Bed very comfortable. Good hot shower.

Slightly temperamental lock on the door, needed a special technique (though in truth this added to that quirky B&B appeal, and the technique was carefully explained!) Check in was a bit confusing, as we thought it was attached to the pub (and once was) but there still seems to be a relationship between the two.

Really friendly service, well equipped, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, right by the sea. Felt like a proper traditional English B&B experience. Perfect location for a quick dip in the sea. We had a suite on the top floor, with its own separate living room with sea view.

Very nice bed and breakfast that you have to experience before they, unfortunately, might disappear one day. (Who will in the future work so hard, passionate and cheap..). Amazingly nice and friendly couple who run the business and want us to get the best out of our stay in England. The breakfast the best which was prepared for us according to our own free wishes. The view of the beach and sea right outside the window and breakfast room magnificent! Map and descriptions of historic beautiful roads to Brighton where we went afterwards, the couple arranged so that it would explicitly suit us. England at its best and this is how we want to continue living and living. Our best thanks and warmest recommendation that more people try this fantastic bed & breakfast!

Great place to stay on the seafront in Sandgate. Very comfortable bed in a large room with sweeping sea views. Delicious, freshly cooked breakfast too. Will be back!

You can’t improve perfection!

Breakfast was prefect, piping hot with the best poached egg ever. All ingredients were fresh and good quality. Very tasty indeed. Fresh ground coffee with fresh orange too. The bedroom was clean and bright very spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spotless with a very large walk in shower that was powerful with hot water. We had a separate lounge overlooking the sea, it was a seaview indeed. You could help yourself to tea and coffee.

Perfect location for overnight stay before taking an early (ish) shuttle the next day. The room was newly decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and ready for us at 7am.

Very warm welcome on arrival. Owners were very generous and welcoming. The room was immaculately clean and tidy. The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever laid on and breakfast was superb. Our room was relaxing, spacious with a gorgeous sea view. We also had dinner in the pub downstairs and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to go back!

We requested Plant Based breakfast. Wendy and Stuart went out of their way to accommodate us. We therefore had an excellent breakfast. The room had a fabulous view, right by the shore. looking towards Dungeness. The linen was crisp cotton.

Not really a dislike, it just felt a little odd going into a pub to check in when the suite was next door. This location was actually much better, though.
