Decking on balcony outside our room was a bit tired - could do with replacing or re-varnishing. Safe wouldn't work on arrival, reported to reception who rectified this. More choice needed at breakfast i.e. pineapple juice, tomato juice, a more varied selection of tea bags needed i.e. mint. The 1st morning at breakfast more staff needed, glasses ran out, orange juice ran out certain breakfast items ran out on the 2nd morning but the staff issue on the 2nd morning was much better and things ran much more smoothly. For the size of bedroom the TV could do with upgrading to a larger screen size.

Rooms were spacious and clean, lovely fluffy towels & robes. Nice gardens to sit in with a drink.

- The Spa Pool was very cold and wasn’t reflective of a Spa Hotel - Room service was 40 minutes late due to staff forgetting to put order through - Breakfast was a bit chaotic and the sausages within the sandwiches were luke warm - Staff appeared overworked and this is a hotel issue higher up the chain - Balcony on room was not cleaned - Body wash was empty upon arrival - No streaming services available on the TVs within the lodge

- The room was great and we were kindly upgraded free of charge - Staff were friendly and accommodating - Location was secluded and relaxing which is what a spa hotel should be - Ample parking available

Dinner, drinks and breakfast was a bit underwhelming in comparison to the overall interior and service, not bad, it was okay, but could maybe be presented nicer and more sustainable approach, not packaged cornflakes and such.

We had a great stay as a last night of our active vacation. Very big room with balcony, plenty of space, also in the bathroom. Comfy beds, good shower. Friendly, helpful staff. Really nice spa and pool area, robes and towels provided, we spend a lot of time there. Overall a really good stay in a pleasant hotel complex. Would definitely come again and recommend.

Our only criticism was the speed of service. For example the delay in being served in the carvery (pre booked) was unacceptable. Other than our reference to Craig, above, serving staff could be more prompt and proactive.

Our room was clean, very comfortable and modern with a view over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast choices and quality were excellent and we would complement Craig who managed breakfast organisation so effectively. There was ample car parking and we enjoyed the complimentary use of the Spa facilities. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. All in all a really enjoyable stay.

The cocktails were not great. Also I had arranged for a card, rose petals and towel swan to be left for my friends special Birthday, however this was not done and I had to ask 3 times. The card was then just delivered by someone knocking the door and passing me the card in front of my friend. I then had to ask again for rose petals and swan towel and my friend had to just wait outside. My friends partner also rang and asked for a bottle of Prosecco to be left in the room, this also wasn’t done and he had to ring and complain. It was a bit of a mess and a let down for both me and my friend.

had to ask for butter knife at breakfast on each morning. should have had finger bowl after de heading prawn with my salad and something to put prawn head and shell onto, didn't have cos lettuce, as stated on menu with salad but gem lettuce which isn't as nice, should be cos lettuce with this salad.

Breakfast good, but slightly chaotic. First day long waiting time. Next day not stocking up with essentials for the buffet unless asked for each item at a time. More choice in bread and natural yogurt would be nice.

It has definitely changed. The breakfast staff although pleasant weren’t quick to top things up or remove dirty plates from tables where guests had finished and left which meant we had to eat our food whilst looking at dirty plates on the next table . The area underneath the outside doors were black , Im presuming this was black mould or just dirt. Our room was ok - although there was a large rip in the carpet which had been covered, in the most part, by a rug. Although we did not require our room to be cleaned on the day following our arrival it was then not cleaned the following day which was a shame.

Good size bedroom with air con and a balcony area, would be stunning in the summer. Clean spa facilities with free towels, lockers and hairdryers and straighteners also available. Restaurant provided a lovely dinner and Breakfast and the lunchtime options looked beautiful too.

The fact I’m still waiting in the deposit back after 5 days of checking out. Was told it would be refunded the same day, had to call and was told 10 days. Totally wrong information and I don’t feel you should have to pay a deposit when you’ve already paid a lot for the room

The pillows were like bags of soil, had to roll up the spare duvet as a pillow for the 2nd night, and lay on another spare duvet as the mattress wasn't too uncomfortable. TV was too small for the size of the room. The 1st floor was very noisy with footsteps above you, we had to move to the top floor, which was lovely and quiet. The menu didn't cater for gluten, milk or soya intolerance so had to eat out.

We stayed in the supreme double - excellent choice.... don't go for the deluxe double as Bath with shower over head is in the same room as the bed....so bed would get damp and steamy after a shower! The spa was amazing, best time for a swim was between 7am and 9am.... the top floor was nice and quite, lovely balcony, amazing staff. Great location.

Water pressure in shower was dreadful. Breakfast was hit & miss - full Cornish was ok but the eggs Benedict was not nice. Got the breakfast delivered to room both mornings, cold each time and missing some items ordered one of the mornings.

Good location. Staff friendly and helpful. Leisure facilities were really nice. Room nice and big with lovely balcony.
