Check in was a bit haphazard. No one at reception, so check in at the bar, which was going through a busy patch and had to wait a while.

Views and location good. Generally comfortable.

Tried to order breakfast in the evening for the following day (as advertised in the room) however we’re told by the bar staff that the chef had gone home and we would only be able to have cereal.

The room was lovely, bed very comfortable, had 2 of the best night’s sleeps. Very clean and perfect for a peaceful getaway

The pillows need to be replaced. The lights on the exterior of the building make the room to light at night time.

Location, staff . The room was very nice. The pub was great.

The check in could have been a little smoother. The young man behind the bar was a little vague but was very welcoming after that - also gave us wrong room key at first lol.

Location was great and the property was clean

The Pont y Pair Inn has a lovely atmosphere, a sense of being on your own local pub. Friendly and helpful .and very hard working staff, cosy rooms (with muddy boot tray and extra wooly blanket!)and excellently prepared food (the hotel is part of Punch Taverns I believe so I presume restricted to what they can put on the menu). Certainly would recommend anybody to stay

Small thing but was corrected by staff. very quickly .

Breakfast was not included in our trip so didn't avail of it .so cant give opinion. But other options if not in a hurry in morning is the shop down st from hotel .it has a bakery with does loads of options.Or a fantastic cafe up the st on the left .well worth a visit as staff are brilliant and food fresh .You can see it from front door. Room was good and bed very comfy . bathroom was a reasonable size .but shower was a little tight as door hit off sink .as i"m not a small person found it a bit tight to have shower .but shower-itself was great as two options .hose or shower head .water was hot and pressure very good .Didn't have a view as looking onto st.but other rooms have great views. the location is very central in betws-y-coed itself .you walk out onto a very busy rd and within a very short walk of all the scenery and amenity's you like .There is a train station in the village but not sure of time tables .there is loads of hiking, walking and cycling just outside the door. snowdonia is within reach for all who are adventurous ,also so fantastic area for motorbikes ..loads of twisty rds and lots of scenery..

Food was ok standard bar meals, one thing needs addressing there was no hand soap in bathroom even though there was complimentary toiletries, breakfast was fair

Beautiful, comfortable & cosy room. Lovely & warm to come back to after climbing Snowdon. Lady behind bar was a gem, she was serving bar & meals alone, lovely bar for drinks & food

Couldn't find clear instructions on best place to park. There is a pay and display car park near, but I found on-street parking up the road as I arrived late in the day. I don't think you'd have much luck if you arrived earlier.

Nice pub. Arrived late so didn't eat in the bar. Room was comfy and warm. Shower was lovely. Left early but did have the option to have breakfast if wanted. Coffee and tea facilities in the room was good to fill my flask before departing. Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere in the bar in the evening when I arrived.

Lack of car parking - see above.

Loved the room - full of character. Loved the location although difficult to transport cases etc from car. Had to park in the carpark and walk over the bridge which would not be ideal if bad weather… On arrival my husband had to park on double yellow lines to drop everything off as hadn’t discovered carpark!

No parking, but they said that beforehand. Not much of a problem, though, as there's on-street parking nearby.

One of the coziest rooms I've stayed in, really charming. Even had a good view from the window. Good beer in the bar and chatty, friendly staff.

There is no parking on site, you need to find car parking locally. There is no reception, you need to wait at the bar to check in and get your room keys. When we were checking in there was only one person on duty and quite a busy bar.

The room was lovely and very comfortable.

The girl on duty in the morning was fine but the one the previous night who took our breakfast order was not very friendly and we appeared to be a bit of a nuisance. Not sure who caused the breakfast mix up. The hotel itself was lovely.

Our room had been renovated and was clean and comfortable. The location in the centre of town was great. The pub downstairs had a good atmosphere and we ate a lovely dinner there. the only disappointment was the breakfast. Despite ordering and paying for the breakfast the night before, when we arrived downstairs the next morning , along with another couple waiting for breakfast there was nothing prepared. The girl on duty had to make a few phnecalls and it seems the chef didn't turn up. After a few minutes of deliberation they gave us our money back for breakfast and we ate elsewhere.
