Ok if you say midweek, but the weekend is very loud music from the bar,so if you want early night, forget it.

Great check in. Friendly staff. We had breakfast, there was plenty of choice. Tge hotel is plased in the centre of town. The bar prices were very reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and takeaways within a few minutes walk. As well as an Asda. We enjoyed our stay.

Beds uncomfortable

Nothing - perhaps we were a little unprepared to walk up four flights of stairs, but it wasn't really a problem

The breakfast was superb, and as the sun was shining, we could sit outside and read the papers! The staff were great and we did enjoy our quiet room, it was as far away from the band playing as possible, and we couldn't hear them. We even got a parking spot nearby. It was great value for money too, which was nice!

That we couldn't have stayed even longer. Had to go home. (But look to see when the band SX 5 is back on). We will be back for longer next time.

Be aware, there is very limited parking on site, so you are directed to another local parking area. This didn't cause a huge problem, just something to consider.

Location is excellent for a stay in South Woodham as it is right in the centre of town. Breakfast was good and served promptly in the bar. The band playing on the Saturday were good and created a lively atmosphere. There is no food served during the day/evening, however we were able to bring food into the courtyard for lunch and sat outside which was nice. There are many eateries around to choose from for evening meal.

The beds were a bit worn and we were on the 2nd floor. There is no lift so difficult if you find stairs difficult.

The room was large and spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was very good. It is excellent value for money. It is local to shops and restaurants. The bar was busy and there was live entertainment in the evening. We would definitely return.

The walls of this hotel are not very thick, you can hear noises. This room had the bed situated close to the corridor so could hear people coming and going. The closest parking is on the street

3rd time in this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, as always. Well cooked full English served within minutes and then a variety of cereals, bread/toast/ jam/ Nutella. The room was clean, with a nice bathroom.

This was my second stay in this hotel but I was in a different room. This time the shower had low water pressure and the light in the bathroom was yellowish. The bed was softer and I could hear next door talking all the time. The nearest parking is on a nearby street, so no private car park

The breakfast was very well cooked, however, you do not get a massive portion of it. There is plenty to other stuff to eat though: cereals, toast, Nutella... Room was nice and clean with lots of space.

Nice shower with good water pressure and nice and hot. Breakfast was very well cooked, but was not the largest. Luckily there was plenty of other stuff to eat, cereals, toast, Nutella...
