Not a single thing that could be improved in my opinion.

The location of this cottage is beautiful. Very rural with a river running through it. You can explore the land around the farm which is vast. It’s lambing season so there was lots of lambs about in neighbouring farms. It was only a 12 minute drive to an English heritage site & Hadrains wall. The cottage itself was beautiful. Every little small detail had been thought of and we wanted for nothing. The owner kindly left us a welcome box with eggs from the farm, biscuits. We had a lovely coffee machine and full kitchen with appliances. The shower was hot, the beds were comfy and it was silent at night. We paid £20 for logs for the log burner which was plenty for 2 nights and made it very cosy. There is very good heating so we were warm and comfortable the whole trip. Sam was great at communicating with us. The parking was easy and on site. Overall couldn’t have rated this higher and couldn’t recommend more.

There isn’t a single thing I didn’t like

Everything was perfect, nothing was too much trouble, owners were very helpful and lovely people. Highly recommend this little gem to anyone. Had everything and more that we needed. Wood fired hot tub and sauna were an added bonus to this lovely property.

If you like high quality accommodation, then I can highly reccommend staying here. It is finished to a very high specification. There were lots of little extras, such as farm fresh eggs, milk, individulally wrapped biscuits, nespresso coffee pods of very unusual flavours that were delicious, including a decaf pod, which was much appreciated, as that is all our daughter can drink plus also oat milk sachets, that my daughter was able to use during our stay for here drinks, and an absolute life saver. The sofa and beds were super comfy, all the furnishings and the surroundings were delightful. There is a smashing garden outside. Our host was very communicative, answering our messages immediately. we parked 2 cars easily, found our accommodation with ease, due to excellent instructions and also had a brilliant time. thank you so much Elishaw Farm Cottages.

Instructions for hot water weren't obvious so we missed them & didn't realise we needed to turn it on and so had freezing showers next morning!

Top quality everything. - pristinely clean and perfect for our overnight on way back from Scotland. 5 stars!

We had an excellent stay! - we wish we had booked for longer. We loved the great location. The hot tub was amazing & we loved the view from it! The accommodation was very clean and comfy & had everything we needed in. We can’t wait to come back! We enjoyed using the pizza oven too. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
